I have always treated my various family members to a room at the Holiday Inn Express in Haskell when they come to town for the holidays or family event over many years. It has always been clean and accessible and the staff was always very accommodating. Because it is listed as an IHG Hotel, I felt confident in what to expect.
The hotel was fine for our needs - we were only there for one night as we were in the area for a hockey tournament. The rate was good considering we booked early - pricing in the area went up as the date of the event neared so our friends that booked later, paid higher rates at other hotels.

however, the front desk person we had most of the time was not helpful. she also told us the wrong breakfast time.
There was another front desk girl she was most helpful, friendly, and nice.
The location is good, just off the interstate in a relatively quiet area and in close proximity to numerous businesses/schools/neighborhoods.
