Feels safe, rooms are clean and minimally furnished with necessities. It took really having to watch my budget for me to go here and much to my surprise it's better than more than a few of the name brand hotels.

Close to Legoland theme park where we went as a family. Also near restaurants and other stores when we needed to rush over real quick.

Restaurants and stores were readily available.
Florida drivers can be terrible and rude to those with an out-of-state license plate, but navigating the city went well.
I would do things differently next time, but I am not sure that there is anything I would avoid.

But it was stil up and running so I give it An A for legoland being opened when we arrived.
It would have probably been a great place to visit before the hurricane hit.

This city is a dangerous place. The locals are not friendly. There's nothing you can do in this city at night. This town needs years of development. Wal-Mart, Aldi, few restaurants are the only new places you can go. I never coming back to that town.

I don’t know anything about city but the estate Southern Dunes is very nice golf course estate and safe.Haines city not far away from Disney world and Universal studios.Overall very good location for a family holidays.
The property had a pool and was in a gated community. The community was comfortable with vacation renters as there seemed to be other homes in the area that could be rented. Home was very clean with a game room in the garage. Everyone that stayed really thought it was a highlight to our trip. Decorated nicely and organized easily for renters with pretty much everything you need. Host was easy to contact by phone and email. Not many questions I had to ask and all were answered quickly.

Loved how spacious the place was. The rooms are cutely decorated. The rooms are big and accommodating. Loved how each room has its own bathroom. The kitchen and living room area is perfect for hanging out and interacting with everyone. Love love love how quick and efficient Desiree responded and interacted, regardless of the time.
The unit was exceptionally clean and roomier than a hotel room.
The area was newer and very quiet yet located just a few minutes from shops and restaurants and major thoroughfares, so easy to get around.
The host was very friendly, responsive and accommodating to any needs.
We booked the house, but house was given to someone else for a week. . We tried to reach the host... but nerve picked up the phone . We had to go the hotel . That was real bed. I will suggest not to book any house with booking.com
Location was great. Perfect setup for us and our kids. Robert was very easy to work with. I highly recommend this home for an Orlando area vacation. We plan to be back next year.
