Gorgeous little historic hotel with fabulous host! Perfect for a trip into Yosemite, and easy car park out back. The complimentary breakfast items (muffin and apple) were a lovely touch.

We love the location and the room. Please note, the property is outside of the main Yosemite Park and is about 40 min away by car. We didn't mind. The property is quite near the Hetch Hetchy reservoir. Only 1 % of the park visitors make it to the reservoir. We took advantage of the nearness and visited the reservoir one late afternoon.

Nice cabin, got in late so I did not have to wait to enter my unit. Ate breakfast at the place next door, the food was okay but not great. The cabin on the other hand was really nice, well done, super comfy.

We only drove through Groveland, it seemed to have a lovely one block downtown with BBs, restaurants, and a few other stores. On the road to Yosemite from San Francisco through Manteca, Groveland is the most picturesque little town.

Unexpectedly charming town with way more facilities then we had imagined. The local saloon is awesome, so is the grocery store. We didn't really have time to explore the other options (as we were there to visit Yosemite) but there were plenty more interesting eating/drinking options around.

I wanted a more plush room.
I wanted a more plush room. This one is adequate but the pillows were too hard and the bedding too thin for winter. Also the bed itself was not plush.
It’s not the fault of Westgate. I tried to book at another more plush hotel but I was told there were no more rooms. Come to find out there were no more rooms at the price Booking.com got to offer. I’m learning.

Our family of 10 stayed for 2 nights very comfortably, the property has central AC and BBQ ready for family fun, there is a local market nearby where we bought foods for BBQ and cooking, over all we are happy and would recommend anyone that heading to Groveland.
Rush Creek is very well located, close to the west entrance of the park. The vibe is unique and very cozy, specially around the game room and the communal area. It is worthy even spending a full day at the hotel if you have time. Celeste is a very nice person and takes care of the reception at the night. She was very helpful and attentive to us. We arrived late in the night in a rainy night and she offered to open the store so we could have a few sandwiches. We wish we had more days to spend there and will definitely come back.
It was in a beautiful location near Yosemite and a couple miles from the town center of Groveland. Berkshire Inn was a perfect place for a moms' weekend away with 9 friends. The couple running the place were amazing; they were so sweet and accommodating. And the food was fantastic. They had wine and beer ready for us when we arrived and made delicious coffee, zucchini bread, pancakes, eggs, and fruit for breakfast. The beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms were spotless.
Very homey and cozy. Owner is the most personable host you could ask for. Very lovely decor. She cooks the most amazing breakfast for you delivered to your room. Only half an hour to the west gate of Yosemite in a quaint little town Groveland with cute little shops and restaurants. Make sure you try the little home made pizza place nearby. Would stay here again when I return to the area. By the way, she has only 5 rooms and always occupied so make sure to book early.
Very nice King room with modern furniture and ample cupboard space. The room was spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was roomy with a good shower. The hotel was well located very close (15 mins) drive to Yosemite National Park. The Lucky Buck Cafe was handy for dinner. The microwave was handy for ready meals. It was 15 minute drive to Groveland. Hotel Charlotte had a good menu. I would stay at this hotel again.
Lovely house/ cabin in grovelands about 1hr 20 mins away from yosemite village. Very spacious, fully equipped and a great stay with family and kids.
Lots of games to play and a games room which was a hit with the kids.
We were there in July and the lake in grovelands is amazing and so warm that everyone was swimming in it.
Host was very responsive to any questions.

The nice town of Groveland ca. The people are friendly. The pizza place next door makes a good pizza. Cold beer! The Mexican restaurant walking distance was the real deal. The best food around and I’m from East Los Angeles. The coffee shop next door is unique. Great area to relax in the back. Nice experience.
Nice, comfortable, and clean room. Everything was in good condition and well kept up. Beds were comfortable. The on site restaurant serves up good country fare. Large portions of hearty meals. Location is about 15 min outside of Yosemite gates and 15 min past Groveland.
Very nice interior and everything was perfectly clean! Yosemite Nationalpark was easily accessible in 40 min. A little grocery store with everything you need near by (5 min by car). We were a group of 4, the sleep sofa was good to sleep.
The room and shared facilities were very clean and cleaned daily. Staff was helpful and friendly and Groveland is a nice little town for an evening. Try the saloon. It is conveniently located to get to Yosemite Valley to beat the crowds.
Great little hotel with an awesome design. Friendly staff, free coffee in the morning and a great Mexican Restaurant next door. Also the free parking is great. We stayed here to visit Yosemite, which is a beautiful drive.
It was super family friendly. Great for anyone! Staff is super helpful and friendly . But Yosemite is basically Disneyland I’d rather spend my time at the hotel and surrounding area any day.
Great location. Restaurants, grocery store nearby. short drive to Yosemite valley.
specious, clean and cozy home. well maintained.
owner is very responsive. Great communication.
Location is convenient. We drove from Yosemite and it was great to find the hotel right on the main street. Room was comfortable, full of small details. Helpful and kind d staff
The Groveland Hotel was a magnificent stay. The patio is great for an evening cap, and the staff was so accommodating. I would highly recommend this hotel to other travelers.
Great hosts and breakfast and conveniently located near Yosemite National Park. We regretted not having arrived earlier in the day to truly enjoy the location.
