Loft suite was big enough to spread out. Location was close enough to 7 subway to get into Manhattan easily (walk about 10 minutes over Pulaski Bridge). Shops and restaurants were a block over, and the kitchen in our unit would've been useful had we self-catered during our 4-night stay. Gym and sauna looked OK, but we didn't try them. Probably not worth the $30/day resort fee. Coffee maker in room worked with the ground coffee we brought (they provide filters and some coffee we didn't try).

Immortalized in popular music, culturally diverse Brooklyn has achieved almost legendary status. On the western end of Long Island, across the East River from Manhattan, this huge NYC borough is so densely populated that if it were its own city, it would rank as the 4th largest in the US!
The borough is connected to Manhattan by 3 bridges: Williamsburg, Manhattan and the iconic Brooklyn Bridge. It's also connected to Staten Island by the lengthy Verrazano Narrows Bridge. Ocean-going liners pass under here before docking at the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal in Red Hook. To the northeast, Brooklyn Bridge Park has some of the best views of the Manhattan skyline, while southeast is the huge Prospect Park.
On one edge is Brooklyn Museum, the country’s 2nd largest art gallery, and just behind is the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens whose cherry trees bloom a vibrant pink. To the east are some hotels near JFK Airport, and there are more in neighboring Queens.
At Brooklyn’s southernmost tip, Coney Island’s historic boardwalk has appeared in several films. Renovations are underway to bring it back to its former glory, and the revamped Luna features a historic wooden roller coaster. Also historic is the northern Greenpoint district with its elegant 19th-century houses.
Cheap Brooklyn hotels are great alternatives to accommodations in Manhattan, so check Booking.com for the best deals.
Brooklyn was a very pleasent experience overall. Some super nice areas, the Dumbo , and even downtown brooklyn was pretty clean and seemed very safe. Lots of stores, from mobile providers, to all types of retail. You have everything you need around you.

Walked across the Brooklyn Bridge, fantastic experience. Ate at Juliana's pizza, totally recommend that. Stayed in lower Williamsburg, nothing going on there, would not recommend. Neighborhood was dirty, garbage on the streets and absolutely no restaurants or night life.

We visit our daughter who lives in Brooklyn, and when the 4 of us are all together, her 1 Bedroom apartment is too small to accommodate us. Brooklyn has a great vibe, and is welcoming to people of all ages. We love walking or biking in Prospect Park and seeing the hustle and bustle of the crowds surrounding Barclays Center.

Enjoyed the free Ferry in Staten Island.
Enjoyed the free Ferry in Staten Island. You don't get up close to the SOL but zoom in with your camera & take pics. The bus tour "The Ride" was good, guides were very knowledgeable. Ate at "The Boil", seafood, had the lobster/shrimp boil, it was great! Also ate at "Footprints" Jamaican restaurant, had the Rasta Pasta w/oxtails (1st time having oxtails), it was very good as well. They have live music on weekends, great variety of food & music. Good variety of food around the area. Getting around is alien to me as I am from NC, you don't get anywhere fast in NY....it's public transportation, taxi or uber (did all of them) .... a lot of waiting/a lot of money.

There is much to see in Brooklyn. My ancestors on both sides were from Brooklyn, so when I go there, I am mesmerized! From trying to find their former houses, to going to Prospect Park, it's all fun to me.

Clean rooms, nice staff. The manager and his assistent were very kind, they sometimes helped the tourists at breakfast.
It is close to the metro station. Is not the best area of Brooklyn but it doesn't look like a dangerous area. We walked with the kids at night from the subway to the hotel and didn’t see anything dangerous, unlike in Manhattan, where there were lots of shady people.

The location is great. Situated close to 3 tube/subway stations in Downtown Brooklyn, easy access to food court at the shopping centre across the small park in front. There are few other options to eat around at reasonable price. It is about 15min walking distance to the Dumbo, a nice area with food court and bars with overlooking to the Brookiyn Bridge and Manhattan.

Clean and accessible to many things in Brooklyn. It seemed the same as other Hiltons or big hotel chains I've been to, so if your looking for a safe and clean place to stay, this is great.
