I stayed 2 nights at Aksular and really liked the experience: a convenient hotel with clean rooms and exceptionally helpful staff. I arrived at 9AM and was provided a room within 10 minutes.
The reception team were always very helpful whether it came to ordering a taxi, helping with currency exchange or maneuvering through a language barrier.
The buffet breakfast was rather extensive with several regional and traditional Turkish items. Everyhing was fresh & tasty.
I really wanted Turkish Sucuk with Eggs (Suçuk Yumurta), but I was disheartened to find it absent from the buffet. It was Ramadan, so some ingredients were hard to find, as I was explained later. However, the thoughtful chef went above and beyond, sourcing the missing ingredient and swiftly whipping up the dish I longed for + treated me with a local dish.

I stay here every time as visit Trabzon. Every time the hotel is better than the previous one because of renovation. The location is very good, close to Maiden Square. A lot of cafes, shops, and other facilities.
