I only stayed three nights before going to Phuket. I would like to stay for a week in the future. We went to walking street once but during the day, I would like to go at night also. We visited the big Buddha which was nice.
I had trouble arranging for a visit to the elephant Sanctuary in Pattaya but did that later in Phuket.
The weather was perfect during my stay.

The advantage is the beach and view.
The advantage is the beach and view. Yet it is far away from city center during traffic time (most of the day) and it takes a long time to get into the city. We stayed at the the Royal Cliff beach hotel, an expensive luxurious hotel yet it was very disappointing due to their unpleasant staff.

I do not recommend this place at all. The reception was really bad and they treat the booking.com guests in unwelcoming way. That really made me upset. Also the key collection process was a 1 out of 10 thing to me. Why would a guest do this after spending so much of money. Bad bad bad gesture by booking.com. I will think twice from now before booking a place from booking.com !

I enjoyed the entire experience with great local facilities. Local bars and restaurants. I tried several restaurants and found the staff and standard of food excellent. The price was also great value.
Food shopping was easy and transport on the baht bus is easy, regular and great value for money.
The beaches are clean and tidy and always have staff to provide drinks and food at great prices
LOOK NO FURTHER! Baan Souy is BY FAR the best resort of the many I’ve stayed in Thailand over the years. In fact it’s so good it raised my opinion of the entire area of Jomtien. Everything is in it’s place, carefully maintained and to a very high standard. Details, function, setting and amenities. It has it all. On top of this and no small part are the excellent staff. Considerate, professional, conscientious and impeccable manners.
The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful which gave me a nice feeling when I was there. Nice big room, good wifi, hot shower, TV, fridge, and downstairs there is a budget price breakfast which is good, only 99 baht. The location is good if sometimes you like to go down to Jomtien beach as well as Pattaya, just jump on the songthaiew about 30 metres on the main road up from the hotel.
A brand new hotel with all the modern amenities. Though located a short walk from some of Pattaya's famous raucous nightlife, the hotel itself is on small side street as is very quiet. Lobby area has some impressive architectural details and the rooms are great. The shower was one of the best I've seen in any hotel, regardless of price. Staff was friendly and helpful.
One of the best hotel I have ever stayed in Thailand. The hotel is brand new and look modern. Also the room is very big with 2 TVs inside. The Manager John and his team is what makes it the best. Very attentive and could really feel their passion. Really make our birthday trip special. Definitely will come back again in Pattaya.
