The location was fabulous beach front with coconut trees in the garden and only a few steps from the quiet beach. The beach front is also covered in coconut trees / trees with all the beach huts along the beach set back so it’s totally unspoilt. A short walk to the village which has local shops and a few bars and restaurants. This is a very quiet island so not much going on, it’s a place to relax. If you like the night life this is not for you. Kim and her team of staff were super too. Friendly and helpful in everything with asked. Will definitely return one day.. Thanks You 🏝️

The staff was very friendly and helpfull! We could really enjoy our stay! The Beach infront of the Resort is in our eyes the most beautiful on the island!!

I loved staying here. The woman who runs the restaurant and bungalows is hilarious and so kind. She gave me juice and aloe when I arrived, exasperated and sunburnt. The WiFi is strong, mini fridge in the room is such a bonus, and water heater and strong water pressure made for the best Thailand shower. You’re a short walk from the longest beach and also close to all the other restaurants. It’s easy to get lost in trying to find the “perfect” place to stay, but look no further, you’ll be happy and contented to stay here!!!
Set in a tropical jungle on the longest stretch of white sand on Ko Jum, JOY Bungalow Resort and Restaurant provides simple bungalow-style accommodations.

Good location, awesome beach bar and bar tender;
Nice restaurant on site, good food but small portions for relatively high prices.
Paddleboard and games for free to use which was nice.
Mopeds on site for rent.
Manager was accommodating and helped to resolve some issues we had.

The staff that work at the restaurant and bungalows made me feel at home. They accommodated my specific requests like I was family. The room was really spacious as well as the bathroom. The Thai food at the restaurant was also VERY good and I was happy to have such a simple set up of quiet mornings in the garden with their food.

Koh Jum is perfect for relaxation as it is a quiet island with not many cars just scooters to get you around. Would highly recommend staying at Nadia Resort as Chow was the perfect host going out of his way to assist us always with a smile.

Koh Jum is an island away from the hustle, which is great.
Koh Jum is an island away from the hustle, which is great. If the accommodation is advertised as what it is then great, even if at low standard. We stayed at the North-Western end that isn't even connected to the central road, the last km leads over a very washed-out dirt-road. Along the beach are a few tiny "resorts", take your pick for drinks and or food. They're all good!
A little more developed is the South-East and South of the island. Go there if that's your vibe, else go North. Don't forget to receive a Thai massage!

Beautiful, quiet beaches. If you wanna really find genuine, cheap price, peaceful island this is your choise! Also great beaches for snorkling but be careful with sea urchins! Koh Jum is a gem and unknown to many.
Koh Jum is a gem and unknown to many. It has not been overdeveloped and maintains a local feel. I fear it will change with the demolition of a number of bungalows at the southern end and talk of a big 5 star resort replacing them. Most people, locals and travellers do not seem happy about this. As many beaches are rocky and unswimmable at low tide, it pays to check carefully for what you want before booking.

The most genuine, friendly, authentic island.
The most genuine, friendly, authentic island. My friend and I loved it best of all it is not over touristy. We love Ko Jum and recommend it for anyone wanting to relax, rejeuvenate and enjoy a very authentic experience of island life.
Valerie and her family as well as the staff were exceptionally nice and helpful. The accommodation is beautifully situated on a hillside and the food and cocktails are highly recommended. The restaurant is beautifully designed and the bungalows are tastefully decorated. Only the beach section is a little rockier than on the rest of the island but still nice for snorkeling. If you don't mind walking 20 minutes to Aosi Beach or taking the scooter, you will be rewarded with a beautiful beach. We would come back at any time.
Everything, from the collection at the pier (we sent Chew to the wrong one). To hiring bikes, breakfast was great, super quiet A/C, room was beautiful, seating outside the room was great. Hot shower and laundry done on site. Evening dinner was great, price and quality. Chew the owner spoke great English and has a brilliant sense of humour. Restaurants close by and beach we cycled to in few minutes was the best we had visited in Thailand
The location by the beach on a lovely, and not yet overly developed island, was perfect. I really enjoyed having a swim and walk on the beach, then getting breakfast or a meal in the restaurant. The resort had plenty of families, and the children seemed happy to play on the beach and in the water. All the staff were friendly and helpful, and there was no problem in charging my electric scooter for the return trip to Krabi Town.
Very nice staff, especially the driver was extraordinary!
We loved the friendly atmosphere. Beach is wide and nice, although there is a bit of plastic garbage that the tide brings. I guess that is unfortunately the case at many beaches.
There are enough sunbeds and shade and a nice pool. Bungalows are kept clean with daily cleaning and have comfortable beds. AC worked well.
Great place for tranquility on a sandy beach and pristine forest. The selected room was excellent. The restaurant was nothing special but good enough. It's a remote location great for enjoying nature at its best. Not much happening outside the hotel so might not be for people looking for night life.
Best part of the place was its staff hospitality. It is like a family managed hotel. Get a warm touch. Also its a small cosy property so you get far from hustle bustle. The food was great and whenever we had special dinner, the place was decorated specially giving great feeling.
Extremely classy. Run by a Thai/French family and seemingly presenting the best of both cultures. This is the Thailand I fell in love with decades ago. If you need cannabis dispensaries, banana boats, air conditioning and Wi-Fi, stay away. Leave this secret paradise to us.
Lovely hotel on a beautiful, peaceful island. The owners were really helpful in sorting out travel for us and they were generally really welcoming. The staff in restaurant were lovely and always had a big smile. The pool is really nice and the hotel is right on the beach.
Wonderful bungalows offering peace and serenity. Amazing views, the beach was probably the best I’ve seen on Ko Jum. Lots of places to eat nearby. Super friendly and accommodating staff. Monkeys were super fun to see. Would definitely return to this paradise!
We had a lovely stay! Taeng and her team are the most welcoming and warm people, super helpful at all times!
We loved the breakfasts served on the beach, massages (also on the beach) and shortly speaking, we had a wonderful time at the resort! Thank you!
I have chosen a bungalow which met my expectations. For a change I wanted to have something like a hotel room, rather that a rustical bungalow.
Even though street is next to the bungalow, it was quiet at night as windows have good sound isolation.
The property was absolutely beautiful! We had a private porch and the most comfortable bed. Everything you could ever need was within your own hut! The other bungalows were also lovely and everything was tucked away at the end of this lovely road!
The resort had its own lovely beach, the food was exceptional and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff were very attentive and helpful. We would love to come back to Banyan Bay one day as we had such an awesome time here.
The location on the beach and in the jungle was fabulous but beware - the access to the hotel is along a rutted unmade road and steep steps within property. Mr Khao, the manager, was very friendly and wanting to provide good service.
The location and idea of the resort is amazing - great beach, layout of resort was unique, and gorgeous sunsets overlooking Phi Phi Islands. Staff was friendly, and air conditioning in the room was a nice escape! Food was great.
The palm trees in the resort were amazing.
Good food
Empty beach
I recommend to book the bungalow with an AC and with a fridge. (I stayed two nights and my first bungalow had only a fan and no fridge).
Lovely white cat
Beautiful property, sweet rustic bungalows with large porch and good size (and very clean) bathroom. Short 8 min walk to beach. Excellent restaurant on site- homemade baked goods too!!
