I booked this very last minute because my hotel in Karon was very noisy at night and I couldn't sleep and I had to find somewhere new immediately. I messaged kata beachwalk hotel after making the booking requesting the quietest room they had. I arrived almost 2 hours before check in time and they kindly let me check in and because of my request they upgraded me to a bungalow where the staff said was very very quiet. They were so kind and after an awful first night in Phuket in the other hotel, they really brightened my day (and holiday!) the bungalow was big and spacious, the bed was comfortable. It's not super luxurious (the shower is a wet room rather than a separate shower and toilet) but if you're looking for peace and quiet, amazing staff and to be near the beach (2 mins walk!) but away from lots of tourists and busyness this is perfect. They also let me check out an hour later which was great for my late flight. They provide beach towels too which was a great touch.

Great place to stay with Kids. They had a blast! The water plays make a big difference!
We initially got a room that didn't have a pool view, but, the next day, the staff happily helps us relocating to a room with a pool view on the 1st floor. This was a game changer, as kids could access the pool directly from the outside door.
Breakfast was super good, specially for picky folks like me.
I would 100% recommend a stay at this resort! very conveniently located, and, very family oriented.
PS: I wouldn't advise coming here if you are single, as, again, it is mostly families with Kids.

Kata beach was lovely. Especially compared to some other places visited in Thailand e.g. Patong and Karon, it very nice and quiet yet enough to do in the surrounding areas with restaurants, bars and shopping. The vibe was good, chill and relaxing. The sand was nice, the water was shallow and warm, and you could book exciting water sports if you wanted e.g. parasailing. The views were also lovely, seeing the blue water, greenery, islands and the green mountains.

We have been there several times last time 4 years ago. But I will not recommend anybody to go there - It's way to crowded by Russian people.
Since we were there 3 years ago the number of people on the beach has doubled up by five.

It’s just a beach. I’m from Australia so we agave plenty of nice beaches and are a bit spoiled.
Kata is too crowded and a plethora of people umbrellas and sun beds and people it’s like Bondi beach on Christmas Day everyday

A couple of good eating options that offer takeaways for one to carry it back to the sunbeds and eat there. It is close to a street lined with juice, coconut, fruit, miscellaneous vendors. Nice sandy beach with no pebbles and frequent big waves!

Great beach, several stall with fresh coconut juice and smoothies. Beach with white sand and merely clean water. Size just right - not too long or short. Can rent an umbrella for extra charge or lay in the shade of nearby trees. Beginning of the beach has many boats standing but further it is calm and quiet.

Raw sewage was pouring directly to the beach on the south side of Kata beach! That's totally unacceptable.
We only went there once and left immediately after seeing this situation.
Good thing we went to several excursions and got to enjoy clean beaches elsewhere.
Nan, Milk, Ging, Kanin, Jane and Aoy to name a few of the amazing staff!! They could not do enough for us and we’re always so kind and respectful. I gave my 8-year-old daughter the option of moving to the Centara Grand as they had water slides but she actually said that she didn’t want to leave because she loved the staff here so much. We can’t thank you enough for making our stay in Phuket so lovely. And of course, Pam the hotel manager greeted us on the first day and each time we saw her with warmth, which was also lovely.
Helene’s guest house was amazing treat for our stay in Phuket. The hosts were lovely all the time with us, always ready to help us with any problems or questions. The bed was amazingly comfortable and we had a very nice balcony with a stunning view! In a very good location, walkable distance to kata beach and main center but still quiet enough to enjoy a good night of sleep! Couldn’t recommend more and we would book again 100%
The first thing I would mention is the staff. They were always extremely friendly and happy to help. They made the effort to help wherever they could.
The view from this hotel is fantastic especially from the sea view rooms. The sunset from here has to be one of the best in the whoe of Phuket

We had a pool access room and enjoyed swimming in the pool in the hot weather. The bed was huge, big enough for a whole family! The room itself was nice and spacious. The staff was always friendly and ready to help. We enjoyed breakfast every morning, and there was enough variety of food We will definitely stay in The Palmery Resort next time when we visit Phuket.
Overall design of the resort is nice. Toilet bowl comes with strong tornado flush which is good. Bed is big, clean room. Basic toiletries such as shower cap, shampoo, shower gel, conditioner are provided. Shower gel & shampoo got lemongrass smell.

Hotel provided a superb service, the host of property is super generous and friendly, importantly the hotel is located on the best location, just a short distance walk to Kata beach. Overall everything is awesome! I will definitely stay in this hotel again if I have chance.
Food was good, service - excellent, just the overall location and set up was terrific. That is the hotel, then the pool, restaurant and lounge areas, then the beautiful Kata Beach and behind you was mini downtown with pretty much everything else you'd want right there :)

Great stay at Yama Hotel, so good I have booked again for two nights. Its a very relaxing place in a quieter location in Phuket. I felt I could really relax here, the facilities were great. I really loved the place, and the staff were very friendly.
Amazing Staff! Great food in all the restaurants. More places within walking distance. Beach is easily 150metre walk. Taxi Services right from the hotel if you want to see other beaches or go to Phuket town or Patong for the nightlife!
Great location easy walk to both Kata and Karon. Kata night Market is 15 minute easy walk and was our favourite market in Phuket. Clean comfortable facilities and great buffet breakfast. Excellent value for money
The hotel strategically located on the junction leading to the beach, it takes less than 5 min to reach the beach - do note that Kata beach has limited beach access, only 2 small road leading to the beach.
Location is excellent. Kata beach is a very short walk (500 mts), and is one of the best beaches in Phuket. Kata White Villas is a very clean, simple and functional. Ideal for sole traveller or a couple.
