We ended up staying at sister Hotel Bistrina, which is few steps away and has a spa (didn’t use). I’d expert they both provide same comfort. Room was good,comfortable,clean. Breakfast at the Koliba very good, nice selection. We also dined at the Koliba and enjoyed that. Location is at the beginning of Demanovska Dolina,we used car to get to Jasna because it was already out of high season. During main ski season I would suggest skibus,due to lack of parking possibilities in Jasna.

It was very clean. Very nice kitchen and bathroom facilities. Good storage space for skiing equipment and for drying the equipment. The bed ia very comfortable and the restaurant in the building is very good. It is very close to the bus station that takes you to the slopes if you choose to use the bus.

A fabulous place for little kids: they were amazed by the pool, additionally there is a kids corner on each hotel floor. Highly recommend for holiday with little children.
In the Demanovska Valley in Low Tatras, Hotel Bystrina is 1 km from LA Ziarce Ski Centre and 8 km from Jasna Ski Area.

Be warned, if you book here, book for a room with no additional services, and pay everything separately. I booked all inclusive (wellness centre and parking). After I arrived I was informed that the wellness centre was closed (except on weekends)... that was fine, no big deal until it came time to pay. I informed the receptionist that I was being charged additionally for the wellness centre even though it was closed (I showed her my booking, and the price difference on otber days). She called me a liar, phoned the manager and told me I had to pay, and if I had complaints, to raise it with booking.com.
Bed was also like sleeping on a plank and there was no way to turn the heating in the room down
