We really loved the rooftop view! It was awesome seeing the Tatra mountains in the morning. The kitchen-room was quite well equipped, perfect place for a group of people after a long hiking tour to chill in the evening. Sandwich toaster was an extra thing for the group, cuz still some sandwiches remained from the tour. The host was also really kind and helpful giving some hints what to fool around the next day.

it has a perfect location kf you would like to explore the area. The room was small but cozy and equipped with everything you need during your stay. The owner was very nice she even provided a welcome drink when we arrived. The table tennis and the sauna made our night perfect. We will be stay here again for sure. Highly recommend this place

The location is good for getting to the Tatras and at the edge of the village. The complex in which the apartment is located consists of two buildings of apartment blocks that look traditional on the outside, but which on the inside are 'modern' in decor. Walking distance is about five, ten minutes maximum to at least two restaurants/pubs and a decent sized supermarket. Within flat, kitchen is small but well equipped and perfectly fine for a few days. Bathroom is a good size with decent-sized shower. Bedroom is large.

Velka Lomnica is a village bellow High Tatras mountains ideal for stay when visiting the mountains. You can use your car to move around or you can use also local trains operating right to the touristic centers (Smokovec, Polianka, Tatranska Lomnica, Strbske Pleso and so on). In the village you have good options to buy food or to enjoy local gastronomy in restaurants. City of Poprad is just few minutes of driving or a short journey by train.

The village is app 5 minutes drive from the High Tatras. Pleasant, quiet and very affordable. There are some local restaurants for catering, with good choice of menu. We have preferred during our stay the restaurant Salas Goralsky Dvor.

It is a good starting point to discvoer to neighbourhood ( Tatranska Lomncia, Stary Smokovec, Strrbske Pleso). Vel'ka Lomnica is a small and quiet village, with few restaurants. The landsacpe is beautiful with mountains.

You should go here with a personal vehicle. High Tatras will be about 30 minutes away. Main shopping will be 10 minutes away at Poprad. There is a local supermarket if you are looking for food. Main attractions are elsewhere since this is a very small town.
Actually everything was great. I would like to emphasize few points in particular: 1. A million-dollar view of the Tatra mountains from a huge terrace. The terrace is equipped with everything you need to spend there large part of your time while in the apartment. 2. Free closed underground parking 3. Very comfortable beds 4. Nicely furnished and cozy bathroom 5. Velka Lomnica is located among all attractions you may have in Tatras - starting from Tatralandia, Červeny Klaštor and Muranska sysliks, let alone Tatra mountains themselves.
The location of the hotel is very good for people who are traveling by car.
The breakfast is portioned but very good and plenty. The coffee is also good.
You can see the mountains from your room and the cantine as well.
The staff is very kind and helpful.
The bed is big and comfortable, however it's made up two matraces in a common frame.
Water heater, small fridge and hairdryer can be found in your room.
Wonderful small hotel. Very cosy, has kitchen. There is microwave, kettke, small fridge in the room. The room has balcony and is very nicely furnished. Very clean, the bed is comfortable, all devices operate well. Since our stay was in January, it's important that there was very warm in the room. Thank you very much for hospitality)
The view on the the mountain from the window is awaresome.
The "apartment" consists of 2 rooms and there was more then enough space for a family of 3. We were offered to use public kitchen on the floor and there is kid's area with toys on the 1st floor.
Supermarket is located in the building next to hotel.
The accommodation was very clean, like a 5 star hotel clean. Kitchen is well equipped with tools and accessories, plus free coffee capsules. Free parking directly beside the building. The lawn is well maintained, hard to distinguish from the golf course in the backyard.
A lovely villa, in the best possible location, a view of the surrounding mountains, clean, spacious, comfortable beds and great service with all the heart, we felt like we were in a hotel, already waiting to go back there again soon! Nothing to look for anymore...
Kindness of Mrs. Julia and her willingness to help if something wasn't ok. Nice, big balcony. We went for a hike to Rysy which is quite a far from Velka Lomnica - we knew it and privat Julia didn't disappoint us. Everything was clean and up to what we expected.
Your time here will be 5/5 stars. If you will not be satisfied with your stay in any matters - hotel owner will do absolutely anything to make your day better. Trust me. There is amazing guy with passion. Our world need more people like that.
Location of Velka Lomnica is Very good. Its in the midle of High Tatras and Slovensky raj, so its close to everywhere. The registration and booking was easy and girls in receptiona are very nice.
Good location however far from any local restaurants,cafes, shops. Hotel restaurant is only open for preordered breakfast&dinner 10€/person.
