Staff was very friendly and helpfull. Rooms were a little outdated and the pillows were very large and not comfortable, swiming pool was nice but unfortunately it cost a lot to use daily. Food was tasty but unfortunately there was no vegeterian options.

Tatranská Lomnica is a very beautiful and charming place, the view from the city is stunning. The train station is in the city center, this time we did not have the chance to try it, sure next time we will. We used the cable cars up to Skalnaté Pleso, it is rather expensive but with small children it is way too exhausting to climb up instead. (Up to Lomnický štít you have to pay a fortune.) We haven't visited any restaurants but there are many possibilities. Overall it is a unique place, worth to see it.

Lomnica looks less poshy and more quiet then Smokovec or Strbsko Pleso, i recommend it to anyone who wants more nature and less cars and ppl but still wants all benefits of resort town like good restaurants and nice appartments and mountains just next door. Hovewer best and hardest tracking and hicking trails better start in Smokovec. If you going for easy or medium hicking then Lomnica is best spot for you. cuz there is beautiful trail from Lomnica to Smokovec through forest and waterfalls. Highly recommend coffee shop Kredenček, they know how to make coffee and cakes.

A small but very nice town in the High Tatras mountains. There is a store in the town, not particularly big, but it had everything. There are cafes and restaurants. There is even a children's playroom. For the spa center (where there is a swimming pool, saunas and a couple of slides for children), I recommend going to Atrium wellness center, which is located in the town of Stary Smakovec located~ 7km from Tatranska Lomnica. The town has a train station, it is easy to reach other Tatra towns such as Stary Smakovec or Štrebske Pleso, Poprad. There is a good ski center in the town.

Ski slopes were snowed and groomed perfectly which is not really common like weather we have at the beginning of January. Number of parking lots are sufficient next to the slope, however payment is required separately. Good food, good biers, beautiful High Tatras.

Fresh air and peaceful place.
Fresh air and peaceful place. Amazing view of mountains and surroundings. In a winter time there is something similar to a Christmas holiday train (electric train) and you can visit small villages around High Tatras area and even lovely Poprad city.

You are not close to the nature in Tatranska Lomnica, nature...
You are not close to the nature in Tatranska Lomnica, nature is everywhere there. Deers are running on the streets and in parks, not even care for humans circling around. On the road we've seen elk and even full size brown bear on train station. A lot of forests and trails you can pick, we especially recommend easy blue trail to Bilikova chata near waterfalls - amazing views!

One of the best location, ski/mountain resort is in walking distance as well the tram station and the restaurants. The building is nice inside and out, parking is next to the door, the room (we stayed in the apartment) was spacious, clean, nice view to the park and mountains so it is very comfortable with the kids. Breakfast is very good, fresh and great selection of food and drinks. Last but not least: the owner and all staff are exceptionally kind and friendly always, even during the busy breakfast time! Sure, we will go again.
Very kind staff, we announced change in the very last moment and the hotel was very flexible with the changes. The hotel is in a very good location. The price was very reasonable. The food was good and enough. We got what we expected for a 3 star hotel, very good price-value rate. We were with a 4 years old kid, he did enjoy the wellness after a long skiing day (and it was indeed for a separate entrance fee, but this was known already, so no surprise).
Definitely will come back.
This is a beautiful, clean and quiet hotel with friendly staff and nice wellness. We stayed for 4 nights and couldn’t be happier with a place for resting after day of hiking. We used the pools and spa everyday and the last day I had a great massage. This hotel offers breakfast which was excellent. The hotel is located on a hill above the town which is short walk away, about 20 minutes.
Apartament is located in quiet residential area of Tatranska Lomnica. To railway station, which is also center of the town about 8 min walking. Very quiet and no problems with parking. Partial view from kitchen on Tatras. Apatment is well equiped and you have everything you may need. We received all info how to get key in advance, so was very easy. Really recommend for up to 4 people.
Spacious and comfortable rooms, breakfast with a large selection, the receptionists are very nice and helpful. The location is relatively near the ski lifts, a little inconvenient on foot, but doable. Unfortunately, contrary to expectations, the ski bus stopped working the day before our arrival. The dinners at the nearby restaurant Olivia were really excellent, highly recommended!
Clean, spacious and a great value for money, this apartment is a fantastic choice for anyone searching a comfortable stay in Tatranska Lomnica. Free parking in front of the building and a fully equipped kitchenette are a huge plus. Check-in was easy and straigtforward and communication with the hosts simple and pleasant.
All was excellent. Staff was there to check-in even if we came late. They provided everything we need. Excellent beds, warm inside, hot water with good pressure, very clean room. Reach and good breakfast. Close to the ski lift. Good restaurants nearby.
From the start, the communication was great. We were 3 couples and the layout of the accomodation was perfect for us and it is located near restaurants and a supermarket. The ski slopes are a 3 minute ride by car.
I can only recommend it.
