This place has it all: picnic areas, BBQ, horses, rabbits, and turtles. The animals were great fun for our kids. Our apartment/rooms was comfortable, spacious, and clean. Breakfast was just fine: bread, hams, homemade jam, coffee, and tea. The setting is pretty and relaxing in a village in the foothills of the Tatra mountains. It is about a 10 minute drive to the trailheads.
The wifi was OK, but did not reach all areas of the property, since the place is a bit sprawling.

We booked the biggest room with views of Lomnicky stit. Comfortable, warm with all we needed. Big advantage is the private bathroom and great hot shower.. The room has gorgeous views and fantastic location. Food was tasty with good portions. We really enjoyed the sauna with a views of the mountains. We had a fantastic time and will stay again.
Minor points that can be easily fixed:
The room decor is very nice and welcoming..why spoiling it with a bathroom soap dispenser?
Would welcome slightly broader breakfast selection, but this seems to be better during busy season. English main menu would be great.
For sauna would be good to supply at least empty glass so one can have a drink of water.

Stóla is a lovely little village, but we didn't see much...
Stóla is a lovely little village, but we didn't see much from it. We hiked the surrounding places, like Tatranská Lomnica (less than 30 min via tram). On there a(n expensive - ca 70 EUR) cable car takes you to the nearby mountain peak (~ 2500 m), which is almost the highest peak in the Tatras. Also, there are beautiful mountain lakes, for example, the Štrbské pleso or the Popradské pleso (also accessible by tram). There are also excellent ski slopes in the area. It can be very charming even in summer.

Beautiful small village close to all the attractions. It is pleasant to walk around and enjoy the stunning mountain view! There is a small river, flowers and forest. Local people are very friendly and helpful.

Really nice small and organized hotel, with a homely and friendly atmosphere. There were lovely Christmas decorations. And very tasty food in the hotel's restaurant. I have stayed there with friends of mine for two days. We really enjoyed our walk in the nearby forest, no crowds, really beautiful nature, like in the winter fairytale. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.
We've spent wonderful time in beautiful Stola at Apartmen David. Jana met us and gave explanations about all the amenities and local attractions and sightseeings. She is helpful and friendly person. There was a nice welcome present. The apartment is specious, clean and very convenient. It is perfect for 3-4 persons.
The place of the hotel in a very quiet area, in the countryside. Its very nice to hear the birds and each room has a nice balcony.
