I was looking for a normal, clean accomodation in a quiet, beautiful environment, close to the high Tatras.
This accomodation met my criteria. And the hosts were very nice and helpful!

The location isn't the closest to all the main action, but if you're traveling with a car, that's not a problem. Calm, spacious. The nearby restaurant is a great choice when you return tired from the mountains and don't want to waste time searching. The staff is nice, the spaces are clean.

Great location, great house - very clean, all the needed amenities. Rooms were clean and comfortable.
It is clear that the owner is dedicated to making the house feel like home away from home.
We cooked full meals and had great laughs and time at Chata Home.

Great location - close to hiking paths and bike trails. Quiet, with great views. Apartment has everything that might be needed for self-catering and relax. One of the best places I've been (and I know quite a lot mountain locations). Highly recommended. Excellent restaurant in walking distance, otherwise - shopping is a few km away.
Our stay at Stará Lesná was fantastic! The owners were incredibly helpful, and kind and helped us get the most out of our trip. The rooms were spotless and we had the most incredible view from our balcony. Breakfast was tasty and varied and the dining room was again spotless and airy.
The hotel is located minutes away from all the hikes we did and there are a few good restaurants within walking distance.
It was an active but wonderfully peaceful trip and I can't wait to visit again. Dakujem!!

Great location to go off exploring.
Great location to go off exploring. Nearby lakes and nice ski resorts- we didn't ski, but used the restaurants and bars, which were really nice. Restaurant called Spitz - was great, highly recommend it, address was Stary Smokovec 62.

Very good location, you can find optimal price for stay near mountains, there are local bars and cafes, local shop.
In the center there is a small water mill and stream across village, after hikes we were sinking our feet to that cold water for refreshing.

Bars and cafes are not so cheap as I expected (beer 2,8 Eur, dinner 10-20 Eur), there is one small local bar (Bufet) for beer from tap for 1,2 eur
There are some local gypsies that live in the village, after 2 years I have noticed that the amount have increased. (if it's bothering you)

Good location ,close to slopes(4 min by car) medium sized room inside Lesna Hotel. It was very hot inside the room witch was a plus for us during some cold winter days. You can have breakfast or dinner in Horizont Hotel witch is next to Lesna Hotel
We spent 2nd time at this hotel and it was again amazing!!! Nice and helpfull staff (especiallly receptionist Radka), rich variety of food, great location , comfy beds, last but not least their wellness- fantastic!!!!

I liked it a lot, and it's my second stay there, thus it's a statement itself. However, there was a constant issue with WiFi thus 8 out of 10 stars.
Apart from that, amazing hotel with great food , pool, and view. Defo recommend.
Nice, spacious , clean apartment with balcony overlooking a creek. Elektricka stop ( Stara Lesna ) is just 1 km, so 10 min walk. All tracking path can be reached easily. Its a great place to stay.
Absolutely new hotel, spacious, nicely designed. Cuisine mostly traditional slovak, delicious. Lovely leisure pool, perfect for kids, with pool bar. Close to all mountain villages and attractions.
