As we arrived the owners welcomed us and accompanied us to the entrance and showed us the whole building.
The room and the bath had a tasteful interior design, was super clean and the bed was very comfortable.

The interior is perfect, it’s the best place to stay in the mountains. Everything is close. You have everything to relax after long skiing day: perfect shower, a clean bed, a kitchen with everything you may need, two rooms with wine and alcohol to relax, etc. We didn’t try the sauna, but will definitely choose this place for more than 1-day stay next time.

It is a small village about 10 min by train from Poprad or Stary Smokovec where the mountains start. There are trains at least once an hour in each direction. Clean, very quiet and with a beautiful view of High Tatras. As it is a little village it is hard to find many shops and restaurants there. The nearest supermarkets are Billa and Kaufland near the Poprad station. There is a nice local vine shop in the village and a slovak cuisine krčma (tavern).

For those who are planning to hike, the location of the chalet brings a lot of opportunities to start your journey and reach the top 😄.
Tatra Tram station Nová Lesná is only 15 minutes walking. If you are to bring your own food there is a clean and fully equipped kitchen available. Free coffee and premium organic tea. Convenient check-in. It was our second visit and we are sure to stay here next time. :)

Great location, one of the closest houses to the Train Station in Nova Lesna. I recommend it for people travelling by local train (Electricka). We had a room with the balcony and a view at mountains. That was amazing. Room had all the necessary equipment. The owner is a super friendly man. He gave us some useful informations. We could also leave the baggage for a few hours after check out. Nova Lesna is the best place to stay in Tatras, if you wonder where to stay.
We only stayed for a couple of days but this is one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. A very beautiful house, equipped with mind, soul and taste. Very responsive and hospitable owner. For an additional cost, you can use the sauna, bar and vinotheque equipped in the house. Close to the resort Tatranska Lomnica, by car 7 minutes, or you can use the train in 5 minutes walk. I recommend!!

The owner of the hotel was very friendly, in an effort to ensure we were completely comfortable.
The breakfast was lovely served if needed you could ask for a warm breakfast such as fries or egg straight from the kitchen.
A nice place to stay if you look into the budget and don't want to buy an entire hotel in High TATRA mountains. Good Breakfast with plenty of local products like cheese and sweeties. Room was big enough to turn a truck inside :)
Also the back yard with a terrace, a parking(big) and a stilled garden must be mentioned..
The property is located in the tourist village of Nová Lesná, 10 minutes walk from the Tatra train station. Great, quiet location suitable for families with children. Great accommodation, very cozy and a very kind and helpful owner! We really liked it, I hope to see you in the future.

Mirka and Lubo were amazing hosts, ready with tips for hikes and a cozy home to stay. They were always ready to help with whatever needs we had. The hotel has a great garden to sit in. The room was spacious and very comfortable.
