Good location: the shuttle bus stops near the hotel. The staff is accommodating. We had a big cozy and comfortable room. Breakfast is delicious (and much to choose from).

Basically we did not stay in the cave rooms but we were relocated to the Java Hotel just down the road and it is a lovely hotel all round and ideally located to visit the caves.

The room and the bathroom were very clean, new and nicely decorated. We arrived later in the evening our hosts were very welcoming and kind. The room was warm, heating was already on before we got there which we appreciated. Great wifi connection and free parking spot. I look forward to coming back to Mira’s apartments on my next visit to Slovenia. Also location is perfect very easy to find, it is close to many supermarkets and attractions in the area.

The breakfast was the best you can imagine. The hosts are very caring. Beautiful place. Plenty of space to enjoy yourself outside. Extremely clean.
Located in a quiet area, 300 metres from the centre of Postojna and 800 metres from Postojna Cave, Rooms Klik offers free WiFi and free private parking.
We loved the area, away from the crowd. It was quiet and relaxing, just what we needed. We stayed in one of many huts which had all you need for the stay. The camp has playgrounds and places like swimming pool where you can relax too. We didn't get to use the swimming pool as it was open only hours when we were out and about ,away from the camp.
Kitchen could do with some extra utensils bits, like bigger cups, kettle, knives, wooden spoons.
The restaurant is placed at the top of one of the larger cave with a beautiful view and they have a very good selection of food.
It is a short walk from the camp to Postojna caves through the woods 3km, (by shortcut, not on the road).Definitely a nice place for outdoor lovers, biking or hiking.
It would be nice if there was a camp fire pit, we didn't ask to be honest, so maybe we have not seen it. To sum up - we like the place a lot and we would come back.

The cave is an unmissable experience, but the town itself is also very atmospheric for a short walk.
Main squere and the church is very nice.
We tried Mal'ca Kebab restaurant and Pizzeria Cuk. Both were very good with solid prices.

What a secret gem!
What a secret gem! We stumbled upon Postojna by accident and we are so glad we did. Slovenia is beautiful and the people here are wonderful. The food is amazing and the cave tour was by far one of the best excursions I have ever done.

From Centre you can walk to the spectacular caves.
From Centre you can walk to the spectacular caves. There are also many walks around the countryside (riverside walks and woodland walks.) There are supermarkets to stock up on essentials....Tuc supermarket has a good bakery too.
The cafe in the central square is very pleasant and has a good selection of ice cream.
From the caves you need to hire or share a taxi to the equally spectacular castle. (In the summer there maybe a shuttle bus).

There were two major attractions, the Postojna cave and Predjama castle, I recommend both.
We were looking for a traditional Slovenian restaurant, but didn't find one nearby (or at least it's not on google).

Magnificent huge cave; nice train trip inside. Plenty to watch, sadly the guide offered a fast forward tour, the cave was packed with people, you didn’t have time to see or take pictures. They should restrict number of people allowed/tour or time visit when extremely crowded. There are time admissions which you can reserve, but they are useless because they also accept direct bookings on spot ☹

We stayed just for one night on our way to Postojna Cave and the Castle.
Location is very convenient if you want to explore those attractions. The room was big, very clean and comfortable.
Bathroom brand new. The Host, Alenka was super nice. She even brought delicious pancakes for us in the early morning. Parking is available which is very convenient.
They provided a map and lots of recommendations.
Be aware that City Tax is payed once at the property so please bring some cash.
It's in the town centre so u can have a walk to the postonja town centre. 5 mins driving to the cave and 10 mins to the castle.
Also. 1 min walk to the postonja children museum. Just walk uphill a little bit and u will see it.
The breakfast has many choices and the staffs r helpful.
The room is clean and it is the only stars hotel in postonja area that have 4 beds family room so that's why we chose here.

It is perfectly clean, comfortable, and pleasant. The hostess speaks perfect English. If you visit Postojna caves, then it is right in the town center, 2 km from the caves. The town has a few good dining choices within walking distance. It is very easy to find a parking space, free, and safe. Highway access, Lidl/Mercator/Hofer/Spin Europa large grocery stores are just 1 km from the facility. The environment is safe, quiet, and pretty.
Wonderful apartment near Postojna Cave and Predjama. Very clean, quiet and private. There are only 2 apartments available that have a private entrance. Kettle and coffee provided in the room - you can stop at the Mercado to pick up some baked goods. Modern accommodations. Host was very helpful getting us checked in.
We had an amazing stay near Postojna. The food was homemade and very delicious. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was spacious and had very comfortable beds. Everything was sparkling clean. The location is very good if you plan on visiting the Postojna cave and Predjama castle.

The receptionist allows us to leave the car in the facility parking during our cave visit, which helped us. He also gave us some information about what and where to eat in the neighborhood.
This is a perfect location if you plan to visit the cave and surrounding tourist attractions.
The parking is free if you stay there and the hotel is great for one night stay.
There are a few restaurants around if you choose not to eat at the hotel.
Good location to visit the Postojna caves. Clean room, comfortable beds, and friendly hosts who made sure we had everything we needed and helped us with a tricky situation unrelated to our stay at Lemonwood House. Would stay there again anytime.

Absolutely everything! The room, the breakfast, the proximity to Postojna Cave and Predjama Castle, the kindness of the owner that helped us in our first days in Slovenia. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.
The owner was extremely nice, and even gave us a ride from the train station to the house. He also gave us information regarding where to eat and how to go to the Postojna caves. We enjoyed a lot staying here.
