Great location. Breakfast was okay. Staffs were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the first room that we stayed in, the AC was broken. We got a new room without anything trouble. That’s nice.
Located just 100 metres from the entrance to Postojna Cave and completely refurbished in 2016, Postojna Cave Hotel Jama features an on-site restaurant and bar.

Location - the hotel is effectively part of the cave complex and park. It also has an interesting history which you can learn about on a tour.

It is nice and clean, beds are very comforable. It has everything you need for a short stay.
We loved the area, away from the crowd. It was quiet and relaxing, just what we needed. We stayed in one of many huts which had all you need for the stay. The camp has playgrounds and places like swimming pool where you can relax too. We didn't get to use the swimming pool as it was open only hours when we were out and about ,away from the camp.
Kitchen could do with some extra utensils bits, like bigger cups, kettle, knives, wooden spoons.
The restaurant is placed at the top of one of the larger cave with a beautiful view and they have a very good selection of food.
It is a short walk from the camp to Postojna caves through the woods 3km, (by shortcut, not on the road).Definitely a nice place for outdoor lovers, biking or hiking.
It would be nice if there was a camp fire pit, we didn't ask to be honest, so maybe we have not seen it. To sum up - we like the place a lot and we would come back.

The cave is an unmissable experience, but the town itself is also very atmospheric for a short walk.
Main squere and the church is very nice.
We tried Mal'ca Kebab restaurant and Pizzeria Cuk. Both were very good with solid prices.

What a secret gem!
What a secret gem! We stumbled upon Postojna by accident and we are so glad we did. Slovenia is beautiful and the people here are wonderful. The food is amazing and the cave tour was by far one of the best excursions I have ever done.

From Centre you can walk to the spectacular caves.
From Centre you can walk to the spectacular caves. There are also many walks around the countryside (riverside walks and woodland walks.) There are supermarkets to stock up on essentials....Tuc supermarket has a good bakery too.
The cafe in the central square is very pleasant and has a good selection of ice cream.
From the caves you need to hire or share a taxi to the equally spectacular castle. (In the summer there maybe a shuttle bus).

There were two major attractions, the Postojna cave and Predjama castle, I recommend both.
We were looking for a traditional Slovenian restaurant, but didn't find one nearby (or at least it's not on google).

Magnificent huge cave; nice train trip inside.
Magnificent huge cave; nice train trip inside. Plenty to watch, sadly the guide offered a fast forward tour, the cave was packed with people, you didn’t have time to see or take pictures. They should restrict number of people allowed/tour or time visit when extremely crowded. There are time admissions which you can reserve, but they are useless because they also accept direct bookings on spot ☹
Location GREAT for cave activities. Host Greeted us and made us feel at home. Gave up his own Parking Space to accommodate our larger SUV. Offered all kinds of information on the area.
Offered to let us leave our car on site while we visited the caves to avoid the 5 Euro parking charge.
Awesome offer but we declined based on our needs, but much appreciated the offer. Breakfast was great. Had our own special table set up ready for our selected time frame.
We love the location. The hotel looks new and very modern but has a farm touch. My kids love the goats and sheep. They played with the animals for hours. They also liked the trampoline. The dinner was very good as well and very good pricing. Postojna cave is about 10 min from the hotel. There is a big grocery store about 5 min drive. We also appreciate that there is a kitchen and dining room for all the guests to use. Hope to come back in the future.
B&B located not far way from motorway exit and from main attractions (Postojna Caves and Predjam Castle)
Warm and friendly welcome from owners - Spacious and functionnal room. Breakfast enough to feed a batallion.
Located at the periphery of a commercial area (shops, gas station)
The vila is very nice and clean, comfy, good location, 5 min drive to Postojna Cave. The staff is the best, the lady wait for us even if we check in late in the evening with welcome drink. The breakfast is varied and good, they have also a lot of choice for vegan options.
Maria is a wonderful kind + friendly lady. The property is spotless + very comfortable with a lot of attention to detail in it's design. The location was perfect for us for visiting the nearby caves / castle + with ample parking for guests. Highly recommend 😊
Good location to visit the Postojna caves. Clean room, comfortable beds, and friendly hosts who made sure we had everything we needed and helped us with a tricky situation unrelated to our stay at Lemonwood House. Would stay there again anytime.
Location excellent for visiting Postojama caves and Predjama castle by car. Lidl and Aldi 2 mins by car. Walking distance to Cuk restaurant. Ground floor apartment with car parking alongside and table and chairs outside.
Perfect stay for one night, visiting Predjama castle and Postojna cave. Clean room with comfortable beds. Clean communal kitchen and bathrooms, everything well organised. We recommend this youth hostel!
Nice hotel, clean and has a free private parking.
The location was great, only 5 minutes drive from Postojna Cave and close to the other important locations in the area.
The breakfast was amazing.
Located close to Postojna cave and city (5 min by foot). Room was rather small but clean. Parking outside on the street or inside, near by app. Hostess was very friendly and helpful.
Basically we did not stay in the cave rooms but we were relocated to the Java Hotel just down the road and it is a lovely hotel all round and ideally located to visit the caves.
Great breakfast and unbeatable location to the caves. Helpful staff and comfortable rooms. Close to castle cave also. Short walk to town.
Comfortable room and bed.
The communication and check in was great, the apartment was very clean and tidy, great shower as well, centrally located, walking distance to Postojna cave.
