    There is a very nice lake “Silver Lake “ in vicinity of Veliko Gradište (5km), with beautiful nature, nice for swimming, paddling, fishing, walking and biking. Lots of restaurants during season ( May to October), Cafeteria’s, even Water Park. Recommend to visit. Nice historical monuments around.

    The town is located by a lake and near the Danube.

    The town is located by a lake and near the Danube. Ideal for passing trough, and exploring new places. Golubac with the fortress is close, it is good to take a drive parallel to the Danube. And right on the road along the Danube there are many local restaurants with incredibly delicious cuisine.

    We have spent our vacation on a Silver lake, near Veliko...

    We have spent our vacation on a Silver lake, near Veliko Gradiste. It's a beautiful lake with a pebble beach for your family vacation. There are also many interesting locations in its surrounding. Two medieval fortresses are just about 30 minutes away by car. The archeological location of early civilisation Lepenski vir (8000 B.C.) is just 60 kilometers away. We recommend a boat tour on Danube to Golubac fortress and back. If you are interested in fishing, this is a good place too. You can rent a bike and ride along Danube to the Veliko Gradiste from Silver lake.

    It is the beautiful place Silver Lake.

    It is the beautiful place Silver Lake. Unfortunately during my stay it was rainy weather. But you can visit also Viminacium, Ram Fortress, Golubac Fortress, and lot of other places there are from Veliko Gradiste just in few kilometres.

    I would recommend the Silver Lake only from mon-fri...

    I would recommend the Silver Lake only from mon-fri otherwise its crowded and it is not confortable for enjoying the beach and the lake. Praces at the rrstaurants and bars are fair, exept for those places where you can buy a bear in a same day for a 1$, a botle later its 2$. Food is good, Beaches are good, the lake is amaizing.

    Very Good Impression of the Local Taxi - Taxi VG Momčilo Stevanović -Nice Kay between the Lake (Srebrno Jezero) and the Town - A Lot of Nice Walks Around the Lake - Very Solid Restaurant "Dinčić" 150 meters from the Lake.
