Beautiful and small city. It is very clean and it is more European style.
I like the streets around Petrovaradin and Petrovaradin castle. I would recommend Petrovaradin castle, it is a must visit place. You can rent a bike to get to Petrovaradin castle, across the river.
From there you have view of Dunav river and whole city. Enjoy the coffee with a perfect view.
Overall, 3 days is more than enough to stay in Novi Sad and visit everything.

We loved Novi Sad...it was very walkable, clean, friendly, relaxing, historic, and also not full of tourists. I wouldn't mind keeping this great location a secret. The food was excellent, and we loved the restaurants at the Petrovaradin Fortress where Hotel Leopold is located. It's also fun to sit in a cafe on the walking street and listen to concert-level violinists and other street musicians. There is also an amazing and unique Turkish bath/spa called Atrium just off the walking street with all kinds of services, including a rooftop restaurant, and reasonably priced.
Really good position, in a city center. Everything is only few minutes walk. Danube, Petrovaradin fortress, Danube Park, Serbien National Theatre, City Hall, cathedral, Serbien Orthodox Church, Tanurdžić Palace, and a lot of bars...
The landlords are really friendly and helpful.
The hostel has a really nice concept. Big living room really nice decorated with TV, balcony where smokers can smoke, nice kitchen, three bathrooms...

Very friendly staff. Breakfast was good with various choices from which some can be changed daily. The room was comfortable with excellent additional items such as coffee, tea, and a minibar including a free bottle of water. The location is excellent, and about 8 mins of walk to the very lovely old city center providing shops, food and other activities. Just a few steps away is the marketplace with plenty of local products. The hotel is a perfect spot to discover Novi Sad.
Vila Bor is at first place in very good location for travelers. Almost at highway. But if You expect, that is the only advantage-You are wrong. It's clean, with extremely big rooms (family room) and (important for travelers) with the kitchen/restaurant at place. We were just passing through the Novi Sad so I can't say a lot about visiting city but for highway travelers it best place to rest in journey with best price too.
The apartments are located in a nice-looking new building in the city center. Right next to a 5-star hotel..
The building does have an underground garage which we did use for an additional fee.
Both the queen-sized bed and the sofa-bed were comfortable.
Quiet.
The host - Ivana - was very helpful and really made us feel like home.
We'll definitely stay there again next time we visit Novi Sad.

I stayed at Mr Goran appartment in the city center of Novi Sad, and i can tell you that the flat is really confortable and equiped with all that you'll need in a stay where you'll feel being at home.
