The price is low so it s budget friendly but if u r travelling with kids one may need extra comfort. The bathroom is watery and there are some spiders in the room. The coffee machine was dirty, also the shower curtain.

Loved everything. A very quiet and peaceful area at the edge of the village, near the river, yet still close enough to the points of interest - the Salt Mine, the Upside Down House, restaurants, and so on. The interior is very cozy, fully- equipped, and we found it very very clean. The bathroom is absolutely charming with cute blue tiles. It was quite cold outside during our stay, but the apartment was well heated. Friendly host. Would 100% return.

We were amazed by the general quality of the things in Praid. The salt mine is wonderful, there are excellent restaurants, a great bakery(Sandor) where one can buy high quality products, very nice B&B available, and everybody around is nice and helpful.

The salina was the highlight of our trip.
The salina was the highlight of our trip. Inside the salina there is an adventure park for the joy of kids and grownups. A day in the salina is great for your lungs and for fun. There are plenty of food shops and good restaurants, we pick Csatari for its local cuisine. The staff is excellent and the food delicious.
We can't recommend Praid enough for a family trips and not only. You can definitely find great adventures in the surroundings.

If you are in the area it would be a good ideea to visit the salt mine. There are games inside, you could have a snack or drink some tea/coffee or evend a glass of wine :) It is a fun place to spend with your children.
Also, I recommend having a burger or chicken at the Elemozsia Burger Bar :) Delicious!

For me it was great to see a small step towards being...
For me it was great to see a small step towards being environmentally friendly. I was quite surprised seeing a small note in the bathroom mentioning not to throw towels on the floor as cleaner will come and take it to wash even tho it is not dirty. Excessive washing has a huge impact on the environment. You won’t see this messages often in any hotel.
On another note everything is only a short walking distance away from the hotel. Boutiques, salt mine, restaurants, cafes and shops.

The only thing Praid is worth visiting for is the salt mine...
The only thing Praid is worth visiting for is the salt mine and the Wellness center with salty thermal water. Otherwise you get hired there pretty quickly. You can't really go hiking because there are bears everywhere.
The hotel is very nice and clean. It is surrounded by a huge garden and the view is excellent. The pool was great, the water was quite warm, there were sunbeds as well. We were really surprised by the free welcome gifts( fresh, cold lemonade, cozonaci and water). They also offer free tea and coffee. The location is perfect because it is not exactly in the village, where is very busy, but just a few minutes away from the salt mine. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you!
We stayed only for 2 nights but it was a comfortable and pleasant stay. The owner was friendly and helpful all the time. There's plenty of space outside the house to go for walks and relax. The main attractions from Praid are a bit far away but if you catch some nice weather the walk there is enjoyable with plenty of nice views of mountains and traditional Transylvanian houses. The air is fresh and the night sky looks amazing when there are no clouds.
I already gave the highest score for cleanliness, staff, facilities, comfort, location. Not much to add. Just perfect days spent there. We really enjoyed the pool, the garden. And very important, the Praid Salt Mine is just 5 minutes walking distance. Also very close to Ursu Lake, where we enjoyed a lovely swim in salty water.

Nothing to like about this Hotel.
We booked the room and we got the confirmation. When we got at the hotel. The rude staff told them that they don’t have our room anymore ! And told us that he can send us to a different place for the same money, looked at the place and was absolutely rubbish!
So definitely rubbish treatment from staff !
Pros: it is really in the centre of Praid. The breakfast was included in the price, it was fine and more than enough, everybody could choose something suitable to their taste. The public spaces were clean. The room and the bathroom were the appropriate size. There was always a free parking spot whenever we arrived back.
Charming and clean pension. Great for families with children. Lots of games and activities for the kids, a lot of green outdoor spaces, even a pond.
Apartments are pretty modern and clean. Staff is super friendly. 15 minutes walking distance for Praid Salt Mine. Barbecue at your disposal and plenty of private parking.
Excellent location, close to the main road in Praid, very quiet and relaxing.
The chalet had everything you would need, a sink, fridge, microwave and cutlery, outside there is a barbecue with a sitting area.
The host was ready to help us with anything we needed, will definitely be back in the future.
Amazing amazing SPA. Really clean. Nice staff. Dinner (a la carte food) really really tasteful and not very expensive for the quality of the used ingriedents. Best gulaș we' ve ever had. The location, landscape in the back it's beautiful. The hotel în itself it's nice.

We liked that it was close to the center of the city, but also far away from the traffic. Super nice, warm ( it was low temperature outside). Room was nicer than a hotel room. Definetly we will return.
The spa area was clean and very nice, very hot inside, maybe a bit too much chlor in the water. The rooms are nice, the bed comfortable and the breakfast very rich. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel.
Location was excellent as it's literally 5 minutes from the salt mine and the town center.we have been to Praid before and after visiting Turda as well I can honestly say Praid is so much better.
During our trip we stayed in a few hotels and honestly, this was the only place that was actually clean, beyond expectations. The location was great: a nice view and very silent at night.
