I was looking for a quiet place to rest close to an appointment I had the next morning. So it met my expectations perfectly. I am a local and love the heat so that wasn't an issue for me. The appartment is very well equiped and the mattress very good. The owner was flexible and easily reachable when the electricity failed and he explained it was a general one. The view is very pleasant.

The host was very nice and had good communication. The apartment was very nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The apartment is small but it has more than you need. It seems like she thought of pretty much everything a traveler might need.

This accommodation is beautiful. There is everything you need, to provide food, to have a good time and the contact was without any problems. We asked if we could move in a bit earlier. That was no problem. We were immediately contacted, pictures with the description, were the house is situated and how to get the key, were sent and we had a short but great time there. There is a large terrace with small garden, AC in the bedrooms and even a pull-up-bar on the wall, for exercising during vacation :)
Everything was really really clean, towels were provided.... Wonderful!
Thanks a lot!

Villa Angélique Saint-Denis de la Réunion
We stayed at Villa Angélique in Saint-Denis de la Réunion at the beginning and end of our tour of the island.
The villa is a superb little boutique hotel combining the charm of an old colonial house with all the comforts you would expect. This establishment deserves its four stars, as everything is perfect for a stay in Réunion's capital. The lounges are tastefully decorated. During our stay, there was an exhibition by a contemporary artist. The rooms are air-conditioned and all have private bathrooms. The bedding is of high quality and very comfortable. Breakfast is very good and can be taken on the terrace. It should be noted that the hotel has a lift, which is appreciated by people with disabilities or large suitcases.
The hotel is 10 minutes' walk from all the city's sights; the Grand Marche, museums, etc.
An address to be recommended.
The hotel does not (yet) have a restaurant, but it would seem that this is in the management's plans. We recommend La Fabrique, an excellent gastronomic address run by chef Jehan Colson (www.lafabriquerestaurant.re), with a very fine wine list.
