The receptionist was really helpful, check-in was quick. Breakfast was really good: plenty of options for everyone. The room was pretty quiet to be fair. The bathroom had a bathtub in it, which was a bonus as I could use it after a long day of walking. There are a few restaurants and shops nearby. For Camino pilgrims: they do have a stamp for your pilgrim passport.

We have had a most relaxing afternoon by the pool after walking the Camino .The hostess was super friendly and accommodating to all our requests. Also she arranged and drove us to the local restaurant where we have had one of the meals that we had in Portugal. We would definitely stay here again.

The apartment was comfortable and extremely clean. It was equipped with all the basic necessities and everything worked as intended. The location is wonderful, being inside Valenca’s fortress, with lovely scenes to the front and rear. There are cafes and restaurants within a pleasant stroll but the property is situated a little distance from the more commercial end of the fortress, which can get very busy on shopping days. It was extremely quiet at night and parking was easy. We stayed during wintertime and although it was chilly outside, the apartment was easy to keep warm and cosy. The host was friendly and communication was easy.
We visit the area often and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Valença is a lovely town half of which is still inside the fortifications. The restaurants and shops are friendly and accommodating the views from the fortress are beautiful. A word of "warning" the food is amazing and the portions HUGE!

Loads of shops selling linen, towels and leather handbags. restaurants a bit pushy but all part of the experience. If staying in the Pousada, hold your breath as you drive through the gateway, very very slowly!
Location is perfect if you are looking for a quiet and peaceful place. The house is close to nature and half driving to the amazing portuguese coast, or to a nice city like Oporto. A big garden and pool perfect to enjoy reading or having conversation with others. Valença is the nearest village and its really nice place. The host give us a perfect service always with a smile. Finally I want to remarck that the house is very comfortable caring about all the details that you need for a perfect stay. Highly recommended!
Room was very comfortable, featuring a large bed and a whirlpool tub.
Room entrance had a comfortable swing and a table, which allowed us to sit just outside the room and enjoy the beautiful nature surrounding the hotel.
Restaurant/bar was nicely decorated, the staff was nice and the dinner at the restaurant was delicious (albeit a little expensive).
Checkout was instant (since the access was through a unique door code, so there was no need for drop-off).
location was great 5 min walk to old town , parking was public underground parking that the hotel gave a discounted rate 10 euros per 24 hours was 50 meters away. Room was spacious for two people bathroom and shower were very good . Staff was excellent and helpful upon arrival . I would recommend this hotel for Braga
Very friendly staff. Clean and comfortable and for Camino pilgrims in particular it had a bath. No food in the evening as such but great restaurant 20 mins walk down the road - very dark on the way home although I’m sure some residents managed to get a lift from the hotel. Good breakfast.
The room was really well located in the old part of Valenca. It was a nice big comfortable room with a balcony overlooking a small street. Beds were comfy, the room was airy, very clean. There was a nice common area outside where you good sit and have a cup of something - a nice touch.
The hostel was so charming and homely and cosy, with great decor as well. The host was super friendly and helpful, which was truly appreciated! The beds felt comfortable, safe and private. It is also at a great location in the Valença fortaleza.
Lovely new hotel. The tile work is amazing, the room was spacious, and the views are amazing. I didn't try the pool, but it did look very nice. The breakfast was very nice as well.
The host, Hernan, went above and beyond helping me arrange transportation for my backpack, during the off-season. He always had a smile and shared his knowledge of Valenca and Tui.
great hotel unfortunately we had to stay only for 1 night because it was fully booked for the other nights we stayed in Valença ; we will stay here next time for sure
Location in the historic walled part of Valenca. Comfortable and clean room. The nearby area was interesting to explore. The woman at reception was very helpful.
