Just returned from a family holiday in Portugal staying at Quinta de São Lucas - beautiful holiday homes/ cottages in the small and quiet suburban town of Assenta ( 40 minutes from Lisbon airport)
These authentic Portugese holiday homes (3 only) are secluded and gated family homes, formerly occupied by Pedro and his sister. Their father Justino & wife Maria still live in an adjacent property within the complex and were on hand if we needed anything. Maria speaks good English and both made every effort to ensure our holiday was everything we had hoped for.
We had exclusive use of the pool for the week and all facilities were extremely well maintained including very pretty gardens, orchards, vegetable plots and games room. We enjoyed fresh herbs and a selection of fruits daily (complimentary)
Our cottage was a 5 minute walk to the beach and spectacular views of the rugged and dramatic Silver Coast Line. These cottages were fully equipped and air conditioned, each with their own purpose built BBQ, patio and table, chairs & loungers. Our grown up children made good use of the bicycles available and a variety of water and other sporting equipment.
We really enjoyed our stay, warm welcome and hospitality of the hosts. I am more than happy to recommend these properties 😀👍
