Most magical place located in a vineyard in a small village North of Porto. We stayed for one night and loved it so much that we simply shopped for tapas in the supermarket near by to enjoy the property even more instead of going to a restaurant for dinner. Perfect for a couple's getaway, or a small group of friends that wants to relax and reconnect like us.

Ponte de Lima is a perfect place for a pilgrim on the Camino to take a rest day. Perfect place to get your laundry done properly, catch up with your sleep. Lots of nice restaurants to eat in. Many interesting alleys to walk through and enough sights to take in a day.

Ponte de Lima is a remarkably well-preserved, historically important village in Northern Portugal. It has been a crossroads for centuries. Probably for a Druids-like culture, definitely for the Romans, for hundreds of thousands of pilgrims walking the historic Camino (Caminho in Portuguese), as well as for people traveling east-to-west from the mountains to the Atlantic.
Today, Ponte de Lima continues to be an important crossroads as well as gathering space for walking & hiking, cyclists, various forms of boating (with a champion training center along the Rio Lima), horse riding, international gardening and more.
It's hard to fully explain how much cultural importance there is in Ponte de Lima for the Minho (region), Portugal (as a country), and, indeed, all of Europe in such a small village. Well worth visiting.
I spent three weeks there, fell in love with the village, and like it so much that I intend to move there.

The village is beautiful as well as the bridge, which we walked from end to end. There were several good restaurants to choose from. Everything is within walking distance. There are great sculptures spread throughout town. We would come again.

My wife and I have been visiting Ponte de Lima for 30 years.
My wife and I have been visiting Ponte de Lima for 30 years. It has changed and become much busier over the years. However, it has managed to retain its friendly low key ambience. It is still possible to recognise the town of years ago despite the changes. A truly lovely place.

Picturesque, regional town, with old architecture and great walks within the town and its hinterland. The town opens onto a broad riverfront with great views including of a historic multi-arched bridge which gives the town its name.

Ponte de Lima is a historic town, with a medieval and a Roman bridge across the Lima. Fascinating. We stayed there overnight as part of a Minho cycling trip (self-arranged).
Had a lovely supper at the Restaurante Encanada.
Quality of furnishings and facilities within the room was excellent. Excellent attention to detail and what we really appreciated was that it is just so nice to be able to make tea or coffee in your room - when you want to! Really difficult to find any fault. These are among the nicest rooms we've stayed in anywhere in Europe - or in North America! Excellent service and courtesy from Maria and her staff. Breakfast was excellent! Also, lots of car parking space at the back of the hotel - and space in front if needed!
This is a lovely accomodation. The appartment is very nice and modern. And with two floors with two bathrooms it is the perfect place for the family with teenagers.
The garden is wonderful and full of fruits and vegetables that you can pick.
The house is very close to both bath, cafes and the city of Ponte de lima.
Fernando and his wife is the best hosts that you can have. Hospitality and service is their keywords.
So nice and we will definitely come back.
Everything! The staff are amazing-very attentive to ensuring a comfortable, serene, and enjoyable stay. We were lucky enough to spend 5 nights at Hotel Paco de Vitorino. The grounds are beautiful and include a large pool. The bed was 10 out of 10 for comfort. . It felt like we were on a retreat, yet close enough to drive to Ponte de Lima, Ponte de Barca, Guimaraes, Braga & explore the Minho region. It was an unforgettable experience!!! Thank you!! Beautiful setting and restored set of properties on winery. Each space has been designed and brought to life thoughtfully with a minimalist interior design with Portuguese accents. Multiple gardens, sitting areas, and pool amongst orange trees. Guests are free to wander and enjoy in peace. Wonderful, kind service. Comfortable beds, quality linens & towels. A short 15-20 min drive to Ponte de Lima with nice local shops & restaurants.
The location was incredible. An EASY walk to the historic center (10 minutes), yet also great to return to Arcozelo each night to a quieter part of the region. The family operating the property are wonderful. Their son, João, speaks near-fluent English. Yet they also had great patience with me as I struggled to learn more Portuguese. And the flowers? Oh my goodness. A sight to behold each morning.
The location is perfect. All the staff are very friendly and helpful.
The facilities are super clean 👌
The restaurant is also very good.
The breakfast is soberb with lots of variety.
Hope to come back again!
It's the second time I have stayed in this hotel for sure. I recommend!!!
A big thank you to all staff ❤️🇵🇹
Staff was very kind, I told them that I would be leaving before the included breakfast. They packed me a meal to go. Also one of the few places that had a full size hair dryer which I used to dry my boots after a long/ wet day on the Camino.
Also, there were several nice restaurants within close proximity of the hotel.
Absolutely everything!! Helena was the most lovely and generous host. Breakfast was amazing. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean with en-suite to match and super comfortable bed. I could’ve moved in!
The house is decorated beautifully and I felt like I was in a 5 star hotel. Do yourself a favour and stay here!
I had a nice corner room with lots of windows that looked out over the old Roman/Medieval bridge in Ponte de Lima. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The bed was wonderfully comfortable! The temperature of the room was great, I had a remote to control it. Very charming and pleasant place to stay.
The location is about 8km outside of Ponte de Lima, which took us off the Camino route but the facilities were very good, with very welcome air conditioning after walking from Barcelos in 30 degrees plus temperature. There is also a swimming pool. The receptionist was friendly and helpful.
Really lovely clean room, overlooking a square in ponte de Lima. The entire building was fragrant, and super convenient. Even got to wash our clothes after 5 days on the Camino. Super helpful hosts, Elsa and Cristina, went out of their way to help us out.
Our best stay in Portugal. Gorgeous apartment with a spectacular view. Very responsive and helpful host. Spacious, spotlessly clean, phenomenal kitchen, and right on the main square of this lovely small town. Don’t hesitate—stay here if you can.
This was the best apartment we have ever stayed in.Everything about it was really lovely- when we walked in we just said “Wow”. The view from this apartment is stunning. Strongly recommend this apartment to anyone staying in Ponte de Lima.
The hostess was very nice and sweet. There is free parking in the back and it is an easy 5 minute drive to the free parking lot at the center of Ponte de Lima. Breakfast was good, rooms were clean, the shower was very nice.
Very nice and modern Hotel walking distance to the center of Ponte de Lima; nice bedroom comfortable bed, very clean, quiet, close to the river; very good breakfast and staff always helpful and nice.
