There is a local family helping managing the place, that was very nice! They gave us tips about roads, restaurantes and places to visit. I had also asked for a breakfast basket, although I was expecting something to be delivered in the next morning, they actually prepared a basket with coffee , juice, water, bread, butter, cheese, ham and jam and cookies. It was more then enough for the 3 of us!

Booked the hotel for honeymoon, was upgraded on arrival. Staff very polite and helpful, big room, clean and with a lot of windows towards the mountain, excellent breakfast, Spa very good. Definitely will return.

Lovely hotel, loved the decor. Helpful, friendly staff. The food at the restaurant was excellent. The buffet breakfast had a good spread, with a good coffee choice. From the room I could see the Serra de Estrela. The hotel is right in center of the town, easy to walk to shops, bars etc.

Host was fantastic, gave great advise on places to eat in evening and how to get to the mountain. Host at breakfast was also very helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Room was really lovely as was communal areas. They allowed us to park our motorbikes in lockup garage.

The staff was perfect, Natalia's food was extraordinary (we weren't expecting to eat one of the best risottos of our life). The rooms are big, comfy and with amazing views. The property has enough space for a walk, the calm to read a book in peace and a river for a small dive on the mountains cold water! We will be back!
