Lovely staff allowed us to use a secured downstairs room to store our tandem. We had a fantastic view, really comfy rooms and amazing breakfast, good local restaurants just a few steps away.

The place was really nice. It was the first time our German Shephard felt like at home from the first day and didn't see any signs of anxiety for beong left alone. This allowed us to rest and have the peace of mind that the dog is felling good also. The yard is more spacious than you can think from the photos.

An absolutely huge apartment, overlooking one of the best beaches on the west coast of Portugal. Lovely comfortable bed, TV with Netflix. We didn't use the pool but it would be amazing in warmer months. Parking on site. A short walk down the hill to the bars and restaurants by the beach.

It’s an impressive Lagoon with warmer pools for swimming. Great for kids, but always aware of the risks brought with the changing tide. The ocean beach was wild and spectacular do not really swimming weather.
There were some nice bars snf restaurants, but not overpowering. Very much a Family resort.
We liked the ones closest to Foz and in Foz itself.

Fab beach and lagoon. Plenty of free parking (I expect it would be really busy in the summer) . Good bars and restaurants at the beach. Would recommend the Central restaurant in the town centre ...great food at a great price...
Worth going to the viewing point which is at the end of the Variante Atlantica on the roundabout especially at sunset...

Foz do Arelho is a beach resort with a freezing Atlantic Ocean back beach with surf and undertow and a much warmer “front “ beach on the crowded lagoon which is very good for a long swim.
There is also a great cycle trip to Óbidos through vineyards and orchards.
At Quinta da Foz, you share a historic home and grounds in the village of Foz do Arelho with three generations of family and pets. We stayed in the spacious cottage room adjacent to the house and it was a perfect change from Lisbon's urban setting. Our host and owner was friendly, accommodating, gracious, and freely shared the story of his family's long history in the home. Our room was rustic, but clean, comfortable, and quiet and breakfasts in the yard or on the porch were very good.
This is really a feel good place. We spend here 5 nights with our familiy (two children of 12 and 9) at a prime location close to the sea and the spectucalar beach area of Foz do Arelho. We enjoyed our morning coffees and evening dinners on the balcony with the ocean view very much. The apartment was light and spatious, located in a friendly neighbourhood. In close vicinity you can do some really nice walking over the cliffs.
Owners are super helpful and welcoming!

All of the rooms are very well decorated, have really comfortable beds, and are well equipped (ac in every room). The kitchen need its own shoutout, I have never seen such a well equipped kitchen in a holiday house!
The hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful, giving us amazing tips with what to do, and where to eat in foz do arelho.

The views are amazing. The terrace is very spacious.
The house is very well equiped, with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. It is outside the city center, which makes it a perfect place for resting. But at the same time is only a lesd than 10 min ride to Caldas da Rainha, 5 min to Foz do Arelho and 5 min to the sailing school (sailing, surfing, etc).
Beds are really very confortable. There is a nice swimming pool and tennis court shared with other houses.
hospitality started with the human touches and in this place a family style feel exists. helpful and genuine people who care for their guests. The owners just added such a high level of service it was incredible . As a hotelier I value the human touch more than everything and they hit the mark with flying colors
Fantastic view. Liked sound of the ocean crashing on the shore (on the sea-view side). Exceptionally clean. Good parking, kind hosts. Good region to hike. Hotel has reopened after a couple of years of being closed because of pandemic and is quickly getting back to normal.

Everything was perfect - from the generous spirit of the owners, the incredible setting, the stunning space and pool, and the perfect location. Oh and don’t forget the fresh fruit and amazing breakfast!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. I was upgraded and the room was perfect for me. It was clean, comfortable with a powerful shower.

Very nice villa with a view on the lagoon of Foz do Arelho. The lady of the house will give you a warm welcome! It is a private villa in a quiet neighbourhood. The rooms and your bathroom are very spacious.
happy hour from 6 pm to 7 pm was nice and the breakfast was very good. The hotel has a few parking spots and their parking is free. My upgraded room has a view of the lake which was nice.
Nice views, cleanly maintained rooms and hotel. Breakfast was plentiful with fresh bread and pastries. Infinity pool was nice and with greay views as it was in a small climb from rooms.
The property had amazing views over Foz Do Arelho beach. Spotlessly clean and high spec of furnishings. Excellent air con and great extras like the windbreak. Bed was super comfy.
