A fantastic town with the old town as unesco heritage! There is plenty to visit, many nice places to eat or party and all in the medieval town scenery! The Vistula river is an additional highlight! Do not forget to visit the house of Copernicus who grew up there and to tastevthe famous ginger bread from Torun!

It's an amazing medieval city, a real pearl. Very interesting and underrated. Buy some gingerbread cookies at Iga Szarzynska, eat a delightful lunch at Szamanko (looks a bit like a fast food bar, but has a Michelin star-worth menu, every ingredient is home made and cautiously prepared).

There is always something going on and lots to do, museums to look around, wonderful churches to look in and lots of varied food and restaurants. Walk down to the river, where you can have boat rides, the views are amazing. I would recommend Toruñ to anyone, the people are so friendly and go out if their way to help you in any way they can

Probably our 3rd stay in this hotel but first time in the original granary building. Very comfortable, warm, even "cosy", room highlighted by the very large wooden beams for walls and ceiling. Plenty of space in the room and large comfortable double bed. Excellent breakfast buffet with huge choice of cooked food and cold table (cheeses, pates, meats, salads etc). Very good regional dishes for dinner too. A short walk from the old town heart, close to the river Vistula, but this means its location is very quiet.
Beautiful place with cozy green territory. 15 minutes from Torun center by car. Good variant for family with children, because of trampoline, playground and walking territory near the hotel.
Tasty food in restaurant and amazing breakfast.
With car we have no problems, there are big parking near the hotel.
