Amazing and cheap bakery downstairs, and they refilled our 6l bottle of water when needed. They also sorted out our laundry even though they don't offer it usually. Wifi was very good. We extended our stay.

While it’s not close to the main tourist areas, it’s close to a hostel that has heaps going on, a beach with a great sunset, convenient stalls and a couple of eateries. Panglao has everything to offer - ease of access just 15 minutes from airport and you are on Alona beach. You have several beaches to choose from if quiet is what you need and be away from the action of Alona. There are also so many nature/adventure / cultural and historical tours to choose from that is a day tour away. Tricycles and private cars/vans are readily available. Lots of great food choices as well. Go for freshly grilled seafood!!

We arrived at Panglao airport and looked for a tricycle to take us to our hotel. Our driver offered to take us on tours with his tricycle so we made arrangements with him. Day 1: country side tour (loboc river cruise, chocolate hills, tarsiers, butterfly garden). Day 2: he connected us with a group to go island hopping with (dolfin watching, snorkeling, virgin island). Day 3: Panglao island tour (we only chose to go to two places - the cave and the bee farm). We noticed that not a lot of people went round to these tourist spots using tricycles like we did; almost everyone went with vans. We just opted for the tricycle because it was cheaper, and not being a group meant we had more freedom to decide how much time we wanted to spend at each place.

I liked the vibe of Alona Beach, but it doesn't compare to Boracay. Island hopping excursions looked like they would be fun, but we opted out and just relaxed. Diving was great! Our research showed that the whaleshark tour offered to Oslob was not ethical in the treatment of the whalesharks so we did not do it.

Panglao is very nice, your camera will love it here!! I will be going back. If you like to dive, this is paradise. there is also, sandy beaches, boating, jet skiing, parasailing, skin diving... all the sea sports are here. Great Trip!

Unfortunately we were not able to explore Panglao island . Because of transportation. The hotel was walking distance from the beach, but not sea view as hotel description . There are good hotel along beach area.
I stayed at Bird of Paradise Bohol Resort for one night and it was amazing! The place is so pretty with cool Filipino designs, a beautiful garden, and a nice pool. The room was super comfortable and had a great view. Included breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit, eggs and bread. The resort is near Alona beach where you can do fun water activities like snorkeling and scuba diving with turtles and colorful reefs. The staff was really nice and helpful with everything we needed. Overall, it was a great place to chill and enjoy Bohol!
Their staff Joann was the nicest i have ever met at Bohol. She made our days at Bohol, helping us with booking of our countryside tour and island hopping tour. She was patient in answering all our questions and always asked for the best price for us, though we changed to another hotel for the rest of our stay. We still kept in touch and it made us so impressed that she treated us not just the guest but also the friends. HUGE THANKSSS. The resort was very quiet and 10 mins walk to the Alona beach. We would definitely revisit.
We had a really great time at Bella Napoli Resort. The staff is adorable, super kind and helpful. The pool is nice, the little garden is beautiful. Our room was clean and spacious. It's a perfect place if you look for something cosy, warm and quiet, whether you're in couple or with kids. The resort is a bit away from the beaches and urban facilities but it provides a free airport shuttle service, and then you have plenty of transportation options to explore Panglao and Bohol. There's also good basic restauration on site.
This was our first trip and stay here, and I guarantee it will not be the last. It has now become one of the very best hotel locations in Panglao, and Bohol for us. It was exceptional and truly bust our pre-conceptions wide open. So much so, we extended our stay by one more night, yes it was truly that good. Best-of-the-best. Food was superb, the staff just wonderful, the best beach and sea, excursions to die for, and so on. It's up there ad the best I have ever stayed at anywhere on the planet, let alone Bohol. Amazing!
1) The staff were really friendly and helpful, making sure our stay was great. They helped us find tuk-tuks and they also help us to arrange our trip in Bohol when we arrived.
2) Our room had everything we needed, like a TV, shower stuff, and a kettle. We stayed in a native room, which was still really nice.
3) It's conveniently close to Alona Beach, just an 8-minute walk away. If you don't mind walking, it's a great option, especially since it's very close to all the restaurants, making it very convenient.
Great place to stay in Panglao! One of the best stays we’ve had so far in the Philippines. Really close to everything despite the initial car ride. There is a shortcut that brings you to the centre in minutes. Host is very friendly and really wants to help in any way he can. We did our laundry there and it came back folded and smelling amazing! Highly recommend staying here if you’re going to Panglao/Bohol.
Best place to stay in Panglao, located just 5 min walk from the beach and 10min via tuk tuk to busy Panglao centre ( Alona beach ). Owners are super nice , good size villa with a great AC. Food in the resort restaurant is great but takes a while - still you must try it . The resort offers help with scooter rental and island activities to book. I highly recommend this place.
Really enjoyed my stay and will definitely recommend this beach resort when you're planning to go to Panglao. It's near to the airport. The staff are nice and accommodating. The place is well maintained. Have a wide selection on ther menu and the price is reasonable. Love the long stretch of white sand beach. A place where you can really relax with your love ones.

A lot of services are nearby as well - banks, pharmacies, motorbike rentals, local canteens, etc. The people of Panglao island are also friendly.
Nora's Place exceeded all expectations! The common areas and pool were cleaned every morning and there is a great warm and inviting atmosphere from the entire staff. Chris, Nora and their staff went out of their way to make our stay so enjoyable! They were a great source of information for where to go and what to see while we were on Bohol.
The resort provided a variety of activities for us - beach, pool, darts, pingpong etc. - as well as organized a tour in Bohol. There were also many options for meals at the restaurant. Our room was comfortable and clean. The staff was hospitable and accommodating. The property was secure.
Staff, room, swimming pool, landscaping, peace, restaurant were just marvelouse. location was not in walking distance to the beach or good grocery stores but they provided rides from and to the hotel anytime we wished. I definitely consider going back if I come back to Panglao.

Great location just outside of Panglao beach. Were able to rent a motorbike which made getting around so easy. Staff were wonderful and helped us with recommendations on where to go during our stay in Bohol. Room was very clean and overall a great place to stay in Panglao.
I was shocked because the room I booked was big for us (2pax) and all the staff even the owner was very kind and helpful, I'm super thankful because my Bohol trip was very awesome.
