A wonderful stay in a traditional hut - being on the river was fantastic and provided a sense of calm and tranquility. A change from all the beach side locations and really away from the world. A great place to stay and chill (no WIFI :))

Everything! From the scenery, food and service- everything was fantastic!
Staff will happily organise tours and transport. I did the sunset paddle boarding tour and highly recommend it. I also did the WTF countryside tour via tuktuk and it was great as you could add extra stops to the tour.
Great place to relax, I spent many hours just relaxing in the hammocks.

This, by far, was my favourite place to stay during our two week holiday. I loved the bamboo accommodation and being so close to the river. We went on a wonderful boat ride at night. It was so dark, but the sky was lit with a million stars. Along the river bank, only the outlines of different trees and shrubs could be seen, while fireflies danced on a few of the treetops. An enchanted place♥️
Sitting on the banks of the Loboc River, the Loboc River Resort offers rooms that combine wood and local materials with modern comforts. It features a restaurant, bar, and souvenir shop.

The staff is friendly and helpful.
I was allowed to check in very early, which was highly appreciated.
They have plenty of activities to keep you busy, recommend using their kayaks, and the firefly watch was a nice chill pre dinner boat ride

I would absolutely rate Loboc as somewhere to visit!
I would absolutely rate Loboc as somewhere to visit! We had the most fantastic time staying at The Water to Forest Ecolodge and hired scooters to visit the chocolate hills and explore various waterfalls (head off early and you'll probably find you have Pangas Falls all to yourself (it cost about 20pesos to access & had a shop selling drinks and snacks on the roadside). The scenery is absolutely stunning and the locals are just the friendliest we've ever encountered. A beautiful place, I feel very privileged to have visited.

Loboc was a great place to explore the sights of bohol and the loboc river. Quite far from Panglao / alona beach so don’t recommend basing yourself here if you want to do more beach stuff/ island hopping. Would recommend one or two full days in Loboc- you can do the chocolate hills and tarsiers in the same tour. Also Paddleboarding down loboc river was really fun. Evening Firefly tour was special too! Loboc river resort was a great place to base yourself- and the food in the restaurant amazing! Avoid the animal park/butterfly farm it’s cruelty! But do go to the tarsier sanctuary in corella as they treat the tarsiers better (or so the lonely planet says!) than other places.

Loboc is a very small town so two nights at the fox and firefly was perfect for us. There’s lots to do- we did Stand up paddle boarding, firefly watching, Tarsiers, Twin hanging bridge, mountain biking, Loboc eco adventure park where we zip lined and did the cable car and lots of exploring! We ate at the Fox and Firefly breakfast, lunch and dinner- the food is amazing!!! We used our moped to travel around, without this you would need a driver.

The place have a beautiful river.
The place have a beautiful river. Stand-up puddling is definitely “must to do”: you’re just in the middle of a jungle river, it’s calm and silent, you can only hear the sound of birds, light noise of the palm leaves in case of a wind blow and water splashes, when your paddle touches it’s surface. You’re in the very heart of island’s nature beauty, it’s all just around you!

Lots of tourist. As usual, Loboc River was mesmerizing. My nth time already with the River Cruise. I wish they will set up more eco-friendly attractions like nature train to see the mini waterfalls along the river

Great place to stay and chill.
Great place to stay and chill. Loboc river is very beautiful and calming to travelers especially when you try the river cruise (we got to rent a boat to ourselves). It has a lot to offer in terms of attractions, places to eat, activities to try and many more. Travelling here is totally worth it!
nice hotel, easy to find with a motor bike. Good location in Loboc, so you can easily do a one day trip by motor bike to Loboc River Cruise, Chocolate Hills, Tarsiers, rice terraces, Anda, man made forest, etc.
The light in the bathroom of our booked room did not work, so we got a free upgrade to a bigger room. The staff is super friendly and helpful! Also the pool in the middle of the hotel is awesome.
What a treat, I felt like a kid, climbing up into a cubby house to have a sleep out. The outlook onto tropical gardens and next to Loboc River is peaceful, the room is gorgeous, the shower and bathroom incredibly clean and it was fun having an outdoor shower. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was some of the best we had on our holiday. I highly recommend this wonderful experience.
This place is a hidden paradise! We weren't sure what to expect as it is quite far from the airport, but the place really is amazing. The restaurant serves delicious vegetarian/vegan food and great coffee! You can relax in the garden or right beside the river and enjoy the views and nature. We recommend the firefly SUP tour as you will be stunned by the beauty of seeing so many fireflies.
The food at the restaurant was delicious, the surroundings were absolutely beautiful, and the activities (including river cruises and free monkey feedings) were great. This was my favourite part of our trip to Bohol, I'm so glad we didn't just stay at the beach. I appreciated the provision of filtered water instead of plastic bottles as well.
Excellent stay at GB Loboc River GH in Jimilian! Kudos for the squeaky clean room, the amenities, and the overall comfort. It truly felt like the perfect place to rest after exploring Loboc. Special thanks to Ate Abeth and all the staff who were more than helpful and made our stay easy and pleasant. Daghang salamat!!
A wonderful experience, falling asleep to the sound of the Loboc River and the jungle. We only had one night but we made the most of it swimming in the river, playing ping pong on the deck and we had the best massage ever. The staff were so caring, friendly and helpful and the food was delicious.
The location is everything, we are so glad that we didn't book in the main tourist area. We were surrounded by nature and the beautiful Loboc River at our doorstep. The staff are absolutely beautiful too. What a gem 💎 ✨️ I would also like to add that the fire fly sunset SUP board tour is a must!
The peacefulness of the place, felt remote, not to many guests had place almost to ourselves, very clean and spacious rooms, comfy bed, hammocks, food available, staff was extremely friendly called you by name, pretty location right off the river, rented scooter from them.
Location right on the river was great and the trips thats were organised from the hotel were good value for money. The staff were super helpful and couldn’t do enough for us! The food was excellent, especially the breakfast selection.
Amazing spot - fantastic staff and restaurant.
Night tour on paddleboards on the river to see the fireflies was really cool.
Handled pick and drop off from the port and rented me a scooter too.
I’ll definitely be back.
Thanks!!
The location was perfect and we swam in the loboc river to cool off. The staff were fantastic and really helpful. The onsite restaurant were top notch and they offered activities such as paddleboarding and mountain biking
Amazing location, couldn't recommend more! A unique experience!
Perfect spot to experience the nature of Loboc. Easy to access with a pre booked van or from the river directly. Definitely worth a visit,
We loved the tours they booked us on, taking us on a river, firefly and trip to the chocolate hills! The staff were amazing and the food was super! 10/10 would recommend everyone to stay here
The location was great with an amazing view of the river on a beautiful patio. Staff was also very helpful and courteous. Food was also really good. Would highly recommend.
Room is clean. The small balcony overlooks a beautiful padi field. 3 mins drive to Loboc river floating restaurants. You pay 20 pesos for self-service coffee.
The view is amazing. The pool was refreshing. The location is only a 5 min drive from the main part of Loboc which is convenient if you have a scooter.
