A wonderful stay in a traditional hut - being on the river was fantastic and provided a sense of calm and tranquility. A change from all the beach side locations and really away from the world. A great place to stay and chill (no WIFI :))

Everything! From the scenery, food and service- everything was fantastic!
Staff will happily organise tours and transport. I did the sunset paddle boarding tour and highly recommend it. I also did the WTF countryside tour via tuktuk and it was great as you could add extra stops to the tour.
Great place to relax, I spent many hours just relaxing in the hammocks.

This, by far, was my favourite place to stay during our two week holiday. I loved the bamboo accommodation and being so close to the river. We went on a wonderful boat ride at night. It was so dark, but the sky was lit with a million stars. Along the river bank, only the outlines of different trees and shrubs could be seen, while fireflies danced on a few of the treetops. An enchanted place♥️
Sitting on the banks of the Loboc River, the Loboc River Resort offers rooms that combine wood and local materials with modern comforts. It features a restaurant, bar, and souvenir shop.

I would absolutely rate Loboc as somewhere to visit!
I would absolutely rate Loboc as somewhere to visit! We had the most fantastic time staying at The Water to Forest Ecolodge and hired scooters to visit the chocolate hills and explore various waterfalls (head off early and you'll probably find you have Pangas Falls all to yourself (it cost about 20pesos to access & had a shop selling drinks and snacks on the roadside). The scenery is absolutely stunning and the locals are just the friendliest we've ever encountered. A beautiful place, I feel very privileged to have visited.

Loboc was a great place to explore the sights of bohol and the loboc river. Quite far from Panglao / alona beach so don’t recommend basing yourself here if you want to do more beach stuff/ island hopping. Would recommend one or two full days in Loboc- you can do the chocolate hills and tarsiers in the same tour. Also Paddleboarding down loboc river was really fun. Evening Firefly tour was special too! Loboc river resort was a great place to base yourself- and the food in the restaurant amazing! Avoid the animal park/butterfly farm it’s cruelty! But do go to the tarsier sanctuary in corella as they treat the tarsiers better (or so the lonely planet says!) than other places.

Loboc is a very small town so two nights at the fox and firefly was perfect for us. There’s lots to do- we did Stand up paddle boarding, firefly watching, Tarsiers, Twin hanging bridge, mountain biking, Loboc eco adventure park where we zip lined and did the cable car and lots of exploring! We ate at the Fox and Firefly breakfast, lunch and dinner- the food is amazing!!! We used our moped to travel around, without this you would need a driver.

The place have a beautiful river.
The place have a beautiful river. Stand-up puddling is definitely “must to do”: you’re just in the middle of a jungle river, it’s calm and silent, you can only hear the sound of birds, light noise of the palm leaves in case of a wind blow and water splashes, when your paddle touches it’s surface. You’re in the very heart of island’s nature beauty, it’s all just around you!

Great place to stay and chill.
Great place to stay and chill. Loboc river is very beautiful and calming to travelers especially when you try the river cruise (we got to rent a boat to ourselves). It has a lot to offer in terms of attractions, places to eat, activities to try and many more. Travelling here is totally worth it!
This place is a lovely find! It has a great pool to cool off during these roasting hot days and the location is good for exploring Bohol and the Loboc river area. The biggest highlight of this place is it’s people : Pat & Joshua and all the staff in the restaurant, June & Troy and all the water sports staff. They make this place such a joy to stay. The firefly tour was amazing and so worth it! Paddle boarding was also nice alternative to the crowed tourist river boat.
We loved our stay at Water to Forest Eco Lodge! We stayed in the dorms and they are clean, comfortable and private. The staff are lovely! They gave us great recommendations for places to visit on our scooter. The food is soo good. We did the combo firefly and sunset SUP tour with Arnell and had a great time. It was nice to slowly paddle up and down the river and watch the fireflies. I would love to come back next time I am in Bohol!
This is probably the best place I’ve been in the Philippines! the location is great to go around Panglao, just next to the Loboc river and the scenery is just magic! Michelina is the kindest person, big heart and big smile. the day that I was leaving she had prepared a lot of food for a festival in the town and she offered me everything I wanted!! I had a very nice chat while eating and I really hope I can go back one day!!
Had a very lovely stay here and even extended for another night. Perfect location to go to the main tourist attractions in Bohol. We rented a scooter for a reasonable price and there is a hot shower. The team are lovely, family run business very chatty and helpful without being intrusive at all.
Beautiful views of the river and the food was very good too. Would highly recommend staying here for the price you are paying
What a treat, I felt like a kid, climbing up into a cubby house to have a sleep out. The outlook onto tropical gardens and next to Loboc River is peaceful, the room is gorgeous, the shower and bathroom incredibly clean and it was fun having an outdoor shower. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was some of the best we had on our holiday. I highly recommend this wonderful experience.
Excellent stay at GB Loboc River GH in Jimilian! Kudos for the squeaky clean room, the amenities, and the overall comfort. It truly felt like the perfect place to rest after exploring Loboc. Special thanks to Ate Abeth and all the staff who were more than helpful and made our stay easy and pleasant. Daghang salamat!!
The staff were very helpful. The rooms and facilities are nice. The food is good, although pricey for the area.
There are lots of tours and rentals although it is worth noting that everywhere else in the area has lower prices. So we tended to go to other places/hotels in town for activities.
The pictures do not make justice to this beautiful place! The whole compound is stunning, there's a vegetable/herb garden, a yoga shala, a great restaurant and the river just across the street. All the staff is super nice and friendly and helpful to arrange trips in Bohol.
Staff was amazing , very helpful and smile all the time. Best hotel in the town, clean pool, great breakfast and dinner. You can rent moto in there, cheap and quality. Amazing breakfast place that you can put your feet in the river and eat your breakfast. + Air condition
Super friendly staff who helped and gave advice. I was practically the only one there so I felt very welcome and even went to their house to have a traditional meal. Perfect location by the river and great value for money. Wi-Fi spot on and hot showers also.
Food and shakes are just yummy and amazing
Staff is great to anticipate your needs, have a friendly chat
Location with private access to river. Simply beautiful and some places can be reached by bike (can be rented ) easily
the accomodation is in an absolutely stunning surrounding. The restaurant and chill area has a great view on Loboc river and the food was also good. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed our stay.
Amazing location, couldn't recommend more! A unique experience!
Perfect spot to experience the nature of Loboc. Easy to access with a pre booked van or from the river directly. Definitely worth a visit,
The staff were tremendous 10+++, friendly, attentive, accommodating and courteous. They made our holiday at Loboc River Resort very memorable. if you plan a visit to the Philippines you must go to Bohol.
The place is nice across the Loboc River - very peaceful. The bathroom in the King Suite was great because of the jacuzzi. The TV has netflix. The staff are accomodating and warm.
Room is clean. The small balcony overlooks a beautiful padi field. 3 mins drive to Loboc river floating restaurants. You pay 20 pesos for self-service coffee.
The view is amazing. The pool was refreshing. The location is only a 5 min drive from the main part of Loboc which is convenient if you have a scooter.
