Everything! From the scenery, food and service- everything was fantastic!
Staff will happily organise tours and transport. I did the sunset paddle boarding tour and highly recommend it. I also did the WTF countryside tour via tuktuk and it was great as you could add extra stops to the tour.
Great place to relax, I spent many hours just relaxing in the hammocks.

This, by far, was my favourite place to stay during our two week holiday. I loved the bamboo accommodation and being so close to the river. We went on a wonderful boat ride at night. It was so dark, but the sky was lit with a million stars. Along the river bank, only the outlines of different trees and shrubs could be seen, while fireflies danced on a few of the treetops. An enchanted place♥️

I would absolutely rate Loboc as somewhere to visit! We had the most fantastic time staying at The Water to Forest Ecolodge and hired scooters to visit the chocolate hills and explore various waterfalls (head off early and you'll probably find you have Pangas Falls all to yourself (it cost about 20pesos to access & had a shop selling drinks and snacks on the roadside). The scenery is absolutely stunning and the locals are just the friendliest we've ever encountered. A beautiful place, I feel very privileged to have visited.

Loboc was a great place to explore the sights of bohol and the loboc river. Quite far from Panglao / alona beach so don’t recommend basing yourself here if you want to do more beach stuff/ island hopping. Would recommend one or two full days in Loboc- you can do the chocolate hills and tarsiers in the same tour. Also Paddleboarding down loboc river was really fun. Evening Firefly tour was special too! Loboc river resort was a great place to base yourself- and the food in the restaurant amazing! Avoid the animal park/butterfly farm it’s cruelty! But do go to the tarsier sanctuary in corella as they treat the tarsiers better (or so the lonely planet says!) than other places.

Loboc is a very small town so two nights at the fox and firefly was perfect for us. There’s lots to do- we did Stand up paddle boarding, firefly watching, Tarsiers, Twin hanging bridge, mountain biking, Loboc eco adventure park where we zip lined and did the cable car and lots of exploring! We ate at the Fox and Firefly breakfast, lunch and dinner- the food is amazing!!! We used our moped to travel around, without this you would need a driver.

The place have a beautiful river. Stand-up puddling is definitely “must to do”: you’re just in the middle of a jungle river, it’s calm and silent, you can only hear the sound of birds, light noise of the palm leaves in case of a wind blow and water splashes, when your paddle touches it’s surface. You’re in the very heart of island’s nature beauty, it’s all just around you!

Great place to stay and chill. Loboc river is very beautiful and calming to travelers especially when you try the river cruise (we got to rent a boat to ourselves). It has a lot to offer in terms of attractions, places to eat, activities to try and many more. Travelling here is totally worth it!
Great location on the river Loboc. Take the boat from Loboc to get there 150 peso per person, its worth it. The semi detached bungalows are rustic local design with their own basic bathroom. You climb up a ladder to get to the veranda which has a hammock and table and chair overlooking the river. The beds are quite comfortable, no air conditioning but a fan is provided. Staff are very friendly and informative. Food is excellent and good value, served all day and freshly cooked. Would definitely come again
this was something we didnt expect. first visitors after covid and typhoon. The owners was such an ingredibly nice and helpful. girls got us recommedations, call taxi for us, we were chating with them, it was really plesure to stay there. And also we really would like to support them after long time. Guys, please, go to this hotel. They had hard time during covid and after the typhoon. Lets get Loboc rise and shine again.
nice hotel, easy to find with a motor bike. Good location in Loboc, so you can easily do a one day trip by motor bike to Loboc River Cruise, Chocolate Hills, Tarsiers, rice terraces, Anda, man made forest, etc.
The light in the bathroom of our booked room did not work, so we got a free upgrade to a bigger room. The staff is super friendly and helpful! Also the pool in the middle of the hotel is awesome.

-They also booked us a motorbike. Also offered to organize firefly tour via SUP or a motorboat.

This was by far our favourite stay on Bohol. The setting by the river is stunning, if you rent a scooter you are within easy reach of local amenities and the Chocolate Hills, and the paddle boarding was great. The rooms are attractive and spacious with nice outdoor bathrooms, and the garden area by the rice paddies is a really peaceful place to relax and enjoy the sun.
The stuff was incredibly nice and helpful, always smiling and willing to help. They arranged everything we needed; motorbike rental, transport to the port. The little cottages are in a wonderful spot, in the middle of nature and next to Loboc river. The restaurant has good food with lots of healthy options and at fair prices.
Excellent stay at GB Loboc River GH in Jimilian! Kudos for the squeaky clean room, the amenities, and the overall comfort. It truly felt like the perfect place to rest after exploring Loboc. Great area situated right next to the river. The staff was welcoming. The food was good. The resort also offered activities you can do like paddle board, biking, yoga, etc. They also help with our transportation since the area is secluded with not many shops or restaurants within walking distance.
Thanks for the great authentic experience. We had such a great time in the jungle as well as swimming in the river. Property and staff were amazing and we strongly recommend it for anyone who wants to disconnect and experience Bohol

Accomodation in the middle of nature next to Loboc river. It was 50 meters from our “room” to acces to swim in the river. Nice staff and very delicious breakfast. I definitely recommend this beatiful place.

Beautiful resort next to the river and with a big swimming pool. Tons of activities at the resort and a really nice restaurant. They offer packages to explore Bohol. Staff was very friendly.
Their restaurant served the best meals I've had while we traveled around Bohol. The pool area was also beautiful so as our room with the tranquil riverside views.
It's a good natural location by the river and so
authentic. Yes it's cheap but don't get to comfortable with it. You always get what you have for your money.
