Caticlan is a small community mostly used for by travelers to ferry between the mainland and Boracay. If you so happen to stay longer then there are tours into the hills. At the Port there is a bank, 7/11, pharmacy and many other stores. Also a high volume of security personnel. Very safe place. To get around you can walk like I did or take a trike for virtually no cost. (There is a cost obviously).
The staff were exceptional! Their smiles & service were amazing.
Hotel wasn’t far from the airport and was at the port so woke to amazing sea views.
The Rooftop restaurant is an added bonus with again amazing staff and service.

The staff, cabana king room, and facilities (pool and bar) were incredible. The food coming out of the kitchen was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend UNWND! We stayed for 1 night before flying out of Caticlan Airport. It was so enjoyable that we could’ve stayed longer.
The staff were very helpful especially as there was a storm and no more hotels available in town. There was no electricity due to the storm but the staff took us in and fed us. Luckily the electricity back on.
