This was my favourite stay in Oman. The place is very cute, beautifully decorated, quiet and the hosts are incredibly hospitable. It's also perfectly located in Misfat, in a green quiet setting.

Amazing location. A great place to stay to set you up for either an adventure or relaxing trip. The rooms overlook the village of Bald Sayt and it’s so peaceful. A great drive from Dubai if wishing to disconnect. The road to the guesthouse is one of the best that I’ve seen. The beds are super comfortable, which is great if doing an adventure like Snake Canyon, must do, which can be organised here too. The food is plentiful and the curry beef is so nice. The staff are very nice and advise you of hikes in the area and nice walks through the village.

The View, hotel in Misfāh

Featuring an infinity pool, The View is located at Al Hamra. The property is perched on a high rock slab that overlooks the surrounding mountains and valleys. Free WiFi in public areas is available.

Nice location but difficult access, especially that we had rain over our stay and could not really enjoy the view from the hotel. But staff and dinner were great.

Very much a country idle, which means that you'll be woken up by the cockerels (plural) and muezzin at full belt from 4.30 am to 5.30 am in February. Food and accommodation is superb.

    Very beautifull hotel and room.

Very beautifull hotel and room. We only stayed one night, but wished we booked for 2 nights. We did a beautiful hike starting close to the hotel. So you could definitly stay 2 nights if you like hiking! Parking is free around the hotels. We put our luggage in a small bag, so we did not have to take it up the stairs (no elevator). We ate at the hotel. No restaurants nearby. But the hotel offers a great view from the eating area!

Ayub, the only staff member, was very helpul.

Ayub, the only staff member, was very helpul. However, the hotel has many problems, including the broken swimming pool with walls covered in mould, missing basic furniture in the rooms, dirty bathroom, plumbing problems, poor breakfast. In summary, quite expensive accommodation for the facilities offered.

Misfah is a old town built on the side of the mountain.

Misfah is a old town built on the side of the mountain. The gardens and falaj systems are very well maintained and you can see villagers are proud of their town. We had a walk in town then a walk in the gardens. We stayed overnight to walk in the mountain in the cool of the morning.

What a wonderful little place in the mountains of Oman.

What a wonderful little place in the mountains of Oman. Perfect to stay for the night or even longer, especially in the evening the day visitors are leaving and you can enjoy much of the place yourself. It is hard (if not impossible) to get there with public transportation, so you have to have your own. Interesting things to see and experience nearby as well. Take a long walk in the valley,...its wonderful.

Misfah is the most beaufiful village.

Misfah is the most beaufiful village. Walk among the palm trees, enjoy the beauty and then hike up the canyon that ends at the village, Easy for ~one hour, but then becomes very rugged: you will soon reach the water
