Quiet room, comfortable, well equipped. Shared bathroom across the hall, very clean and nice facilities. Use of shared kitchen, spacious. Parking onsite, host was very welcoming and helpful. Not far from town, but far enough to feel like the country. 30 min drive to Matapouri bay for the sunrise! Whangarei is a lovely wee city, recommend a wander on the waterfront. It was a gift to our friends for their wedding; they loved their stay and the experience. I requested some bubbles to be kept for the couple, and the host did it for us.
