A fantastic room with a beautiful view. It has two tub chairs, a great little kitchen, a nice spa and a covered area for your vehicle just outside the door. The restaurant was closed for dinner but we able to get something close by. We would have used kitchen more if we were staying more than one night.

Lovely friendly couple running the motel. Good view of Mount Hutt, walking distance to Opuke hot pools and Methven Walkway. Room was comfortable and warm.

I could experience comfatable stay in Steves and Sharon's house. Their hospitatility are truely warm and helpful. room and all facilities are clean and comfortable. My room's bed is super comfortable and It's unforgattable feature for me. I hope stay in there again in nearly future and I recommend to stay in there 2 days or more. Really thanks Steve and Sharon.

If you're travelling in or through mid-Canterbury you can do no better than Stavely Heights. It is exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The hosts are warm, friendly, and very helpful. Just an hour or so of easy driving from Christchurch and the airport brings you to a really attractive part of South Island which too many visitors either overlook or pass through too quickly. The location of the property puts you right amongst the splendid scenery.

Incredible stay, arrived late on a friday so it was dark but still very easy to find and check in. They had left lights on and heated up the place. We were blown away when we arrived, decor is very well thought out and we loved it. Saturday was spent skiing at Mt Hutt and then we went to the supermarket and cooked back at the cottage. Had everything we needed in the kitchen! We roasted marshmellows by the open fire and also enjoyed the outdoor baths. Check out was super easy, and we ran a little late as we had slept in. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Owners were very helpful and easy to deal with. Was quiet and the scenery was beautiful. Will be back and highly recommend.
