Traditional hotel En route to West Coast after flying in to Christchurch in mid afternoon. Perfect for setting out over Arthur’s Pass next morning. Excellent, friendly staff in hub of Darfield with sports bar and restaurant ( well cooked food). Will probably stop there again later on our trip.

Well equipped and clean self catering cottage being dog friendly with approachable staff
A great option for Springfield. Especially for those who like communal facilities. Large kitchen and living area. 2 sinks. Big TV with lots of options for connectivity.
Kids loved the bunk beds.
The owner was warm and welcoming.
Hot tub option - probably more relavent in summer.
The rooms were clean and had a nice touch of eclectic deco.
Washer and dryer was in the same compound.
Amazing stay, beautiful quiet place. We stayed at the cottage at the back it so was cozy and warm. Everything you need is in walking distance from the hotel. And the pig and alpaca at the back are so nice its like staying in a farm.. I will definitely come back. Thank you
