Nice quiet location just outside hokitika. Nice bathroom with a bath which was nice to relax. Pretty little place, lovely kitchen and living area.

Great location. Very comfortable. Liked the jacuzzi even 'though the plug got stuck!
The area is beautiful, the beach and the lake. There is free camping at the lake by the way. I would do that next time. I ate at the Mahinapua Hotel however most of the time the kitchen is closed. What I had was basic. I would recommend Fat Pippi's pizza for whitebait fritters. That would be my next choice. I would avoid the Mahinapua Hotel on my next visit.
