There was a Sink in my room which was convenient, I appreciated the little things like free milk for tea and coffee. I also enjoyed having a tv in my room which had back to the future playing.

Spacious and crispy clean room, quiet rural location.
The area is beautiful, the beach and the lake. There is free camping at the lake by the way. I would do that next time. I ate at the Mahinapua Hotel however most of the time the kitchen is closed. What I had was basic. I would recommend Fat Pippi's pizza for whitebait fritters. That would be my next choice. I would avoid the Mahinapua Hotel on my next visit.
