Super clean, well-appointed and really comfortable, warm cottage. Location is perfect for exploring the area from Kaitaia up to Cape Reinga over a few days and the cottage is within a short drive of Pukenui and 90 Mile Beach. We really enjoyed our stay in the cottage and would happily stay there again next time we are back in the north of NZ.

My kids loved the animals and being able to feed them in the morning was a real novelty. Basic cabins but had everything we needed - heater included which was good as it's cold in August! A good stop on our way back from Cape Reinga. Nice little coffee shop and takeaways a short walk away. Also a bike path around the waterfront to playground. We visited Hendersons Beach, as recommended by our host, which was absolutely spectacular.

The place felt like you were at home. Bed in second bedroom was super comfy so we decided to sleep in there instead of main bedroom. Location and directions were easy to follow. No disruption and super private which is what we needed after a long drive. Views were spectacular.
