We loved our stay at the Omau Settlers Lodge Motel. It was an awesome location being very close to Cape Foulwind Lighthouse, beautiful Tauranga Bay and the Kawatiri Coastal trail. As soon as we arrived we felt at home amongst the beautiful gardens and the homeliness of the motel. We were greeted at Reception with friendly and helpful customer service and a bonus of finding out breakfast was included. We had booked two rooms and both had a lovely outlook at the front and back with sliding doors opening on to decks on both sides. The rooms were well laid out, very clean, cosy and equipped with everything we needed. There was ample parking and the motel had a lovely outlook over the bay. Breakfast was included and consisted of cereals, fruit, yoghurt, toast, tomatoes and toast spreads plus coffee, tea and juice. This was served in a lovely dining room. Overall we loved our stay and highly recommend.

The property was in the perfect location for our trip. Sea views, close to parks and a short walk to the local cafe/restaurant.
Our hosts were so friendly and helpful. Being pet friendly we were also able to stay with our dog.
The room had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. Off street parking was a bonus too.
Having a fully enclosed grass area was also a bonus for us to be able to leave our dog at the property, if we couldn't take her with us.

Relaxed setting, near the river and a park, short stroll to main shopping area, lots of outdoor space. Relaxed vibe. Manager and cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. I had two bikes and they were quite happy to store these inside (which was not the case at many other places I stayed at on this trip). I would quite happily stay here again.

It is, Off the beaten track, Very Peaceful, and recomend it to anyone who loves quietness. It's easy to find, as it's a dead-end road, you can't get lost. If ya stuck, just ask at the local pub. They are very friendly, too !
The owners are really lovely people, you only have to read the comments in the visitors book, to understand, what i say.
