Set in a late 1800s wooden building, this countryside hotel is in Hindseter, 60 km from Otta. The hotel restaurant serves Nordic cuisine with local produce.

The hotel is stunningly situated. The suites at the hotel are beautiful with lots of local and historical details. The lounge area with large windows facing the valley is great for chilling out with a local beer in the evening. We only had a short stay but we’re spoilt for choice on the number of hikes from the hotel- they were all well sign posted and we got good advice from reception. Breakfast was in the lovely historic dining room and used local produce. The whole place is very friendly and full of character. Can’t wait to go back!
