A large building, already having its years, but it has many advantages. Very nice lobby, extremely helpful staff, restaurant with delicious food, huge selection of feed from the buffet. Very nice, modern rooms, comfortable bed, well-equipped gym. The hotel is located in a beautiful village, next to it there is a cable car that can take you 1100 m up and offers an extraordinary view of the fjords. Important, tickets for entry can be purchased at the hotel reception. The building is already quite old, but the comfort in the interior compensates for the resort character of the hotel. From the outside it can not stall, but everything is great from the inside.

The beds and pillows were amazingly comfortable and the location to the bus station was very convenient for our short stay (late night arrival and early morning checkout). The owner/manager is also friendly and helpful; he even offered us a ride to the station.

Great location at lakeside. The unit is very cozy for 5 pax.
The room and bathroom were small, basic and a bit dated but clean and with comfortable beds. This was reflected in the good value price. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was basic and OK. The Hotel was 30mins drive to Hellesylt so great for catching the early morning Car Ferry to Geiranger, which was the main reason we chose this Hotel. The views from our room and balcony, of the lake and mountains, were fantastic. So definitely a great location.
A superb place to discover Norway, with all facilities in the house, a free access to the canoë below to enjoy the beautiful Hornindal lake and a nice barbecue patio. This house has a lot of charm, without direct neighborhood and is very peaceful. And the host is very sympathic. The perfect place to enjoy the beautiful nature of Norway all around (mountains, glaciers, lakes, waterfalls)

Spent one night on our way through to Ålesund. The view of the lake from the room is lovely. Dinner and breakfast were also very good, and the staff were very helpful. Free parking out front of the hotel, and good wifi.
