Really lovely old home, nicely renovated and appointed. Only staying 1 night we didn't eat in, but the kitchen was very well appointed and superb coffee in the morning. Very central to the shops, cafes and restaurants of old Grimstad. Welcoming and friendly owner. Very comfortable beds and luxurious linen etc.

Great location for what we needed. A cute tiny home that was comfortable and fun. It was quiet. Close to stores but far enough away not to be in the center of town. It was fun watching the chickens around the ward.

Very friendly and accommodating staff.
Loved the little town of Grimstad and the hotel was lovely with very serivce-minded staff. The parking was available and easy to find and that everyone was so nice and helpful. We ended up driving to Kristiansand and visit the amusement park (dyreparken), which as a ton of fun and affordable when the drive from Grimstad is a mere 40 minutes. Thought the breakfast was rather good and really enjoyed their good selection in fruits and veggies :D
I cannot recommend this place enough. The guesthouse is meticulously kept in an historic building in the center of Grimstad. The rooms are very quiet, beds great as is the private bathrooms and the kitchen that you have access to. Last, but not least, this place is run by a very caring and sweet couple that helps you out in every way. It was a treat staying here!
It was easy to find the hotel after turning from the highway E18, but see below. It is a simple hotel but for staying overnight when being on vacation it is great. They do have a few charging outlets for your electric car, but not any super chargers. The breakfast was OK but did not have everything I was looking for.
Such a nice gentleman. he told us all the nice things the town has to offer, and about the building we were staying in. beautiful room and so so clean and cared for. everything was absolutely amazing. i wish we could stay longer. car parking in front of the hotel. 1000/10 would recommend.
