Great location for what we needed. A cute tiny home that was comfortable and fun. It was quiet. Close to stores but far enough away not to be in the center of town. It was fun watching the chickens around the ward.

This is a fabulous place to stay. It's big but because it is so old (1650) and full of such beautiful things it feels like staying in a doll's house. It was cozy and felt like a home. We'll be returning.
We love staying at Skogheim. It is nesseled in amongst the trees overlooking the lake. Lots of good walks and swimming oppurtunities! 40 minutes to Kristiansand and about 15 minutes to beautiful Lillesand. Shopping also in Birkeland. We have stayed several times and will return. It is a typical older Norwegian hytte, not one of the modern hyttes, but thats what we like about it, you get the genuine Norwegian hytte feeling!
