Not far from the city of Flam, should have rented a car so it gives you a very convenience to get to the place.
We got an entire lower house with plenty of rooms. Huge living room and kitchen. A very well equipped kitchen and dining table. Cant even ask for more from here.

Awesome view, great shared kitchen.
Just make sure you have some 10kr coins for the shower and get your towels at reception in the morning. Lots of people didn't seem to get that despite it being perfectly clear on the booking information

Great location with a fantastic view on the fjord, away from the hustle and bustle of Flam, however, can be slightly tricky to get around, although you just need to book onto the shuttle bus for a small fee in reality, so it's not that big of a deal.

Aurland was super pretty.
Aurland was super pretty. Definitely happy then we didn't stay at Flam, the view and town was amazing. There is a fun steep hike to take with a nice cottage along the way. Even though the weather was pretty rainy, we enjoy our stay with a cozy atmospheric mood.
Only difficulty was the bus ride from Flam to Aurland, because we weren't sure from where the bus is going and then it came late, so that was a bit stressful.
Also we definitely recommend the little Flam bakeri with delicious cinnamon buns!

Beautiful and loved staying here. Cute town and lots nearby. If you have a car it's so easy to drive between towns and various hiking spots. If you don't you can catch buses or the ferries to get to and from flam. I didn't find this hard in high season with the ferries but the buses were a bit confusing. They seem to run until 7 or so be careful not to miss it.
.there's a grocery store that's well equipped, a great bakery and pretty much all you need for a quiet stay.

I like nature and hiking, so here is perfect place for me. Walk to Brekkefossen, railway to Myrdal and back by bikes, Flam valley, Stegastein, ferry from Gudvangen to Flam and much much more… just go and have fun 😃

This place is a must-visit.
This place is a must-visit. It's quiet, but not too quiet—its what we Swedes would call "Lagom"
We originally traveled to Aurland because my fiancé and I felt very depressed. City life can do that to you. We wanted to feel closer to nature, and Aurland was perfect for that. It was very therapeutic to climb the mountains, go on the "fjord" safari on the water, and eat goat cheese pizza in Undredal. Our visit to Aurland made us fall in sync with nature again. The people living there were friendly(I think Norwegians overall are much friendlier than Swedes), and now we are honestly considering moving to Norway—that's how good the trip was. Excellent place!
Skahjem Gard is the perfect place for a stay near Aurland/Flåm. The property is a converted farm where you’ll feel like a local during your stay. Our room was cute and a perfect size. You can walk about 20 minutes away to an incredible waterfall you can see up close. And the owner is fantastic and sociable. He was so helpful during our stay and he really goes out of his way for his guests. You must try some of the local food and ice cream he stocks for guests to buy at reception.
Staying at Otnes Sor was an amazing experience, the views were spectacular as was the house with all the conviences you needed. We loved it so much we stayed in and cooked in the fabulous kitchen both nights instead of going out. It is a little walk into Aurland but the team were amazing and even gave us a ride to the ferry and waited for us at the bus stop. Would highly recommend!
Breathtaking view of Sognefjord from our bedroom window at sunrise…. one time life experience. Best spot to start a fjord cruise, to reach Flamban or just drive to Stegastein view point, up on the mountain. You will find a SPAR store or a viking souvenir shop, 2 minutes driving , in Aurland downtown. We had everything we needed for a 2 nights stay.

Their 3BHK deluxe is outstanding furnishing and comfort wise.
While studios on ground floor are superb view and bang on fjord. The view and feel is out of this world. We came here for just 2days and today is our 7th day. Don’t feel like leaving the place. It is heaven in Norway.
Modern, clean and spacious apartment set in an idyllic spot, just a couple of minutes away from Aurlandsvangen. The apartment is fully furnished and has a balcony with beautiful view over the valley. The owner lives close by and we were able to check in fairly late in the evening. 100% recommended!
location was superb amd everthing was very clean. the house we stayed in has two shared bathrooms with shower, a huge kitchen and two big living rooms with amazing views. bed sheets and towels included in the price - which is a plus for any accommodation in norway
Really big, clean and comfortable house with a great quiet position and a beautiful view of the Aurlandsfjord. The location is near to the villages of Flam and Aurland, making easy to access facilities like, for example, markets and restaurants.
Aurlandsfjord is in a great location to reach Flam and other surrounding areas. Walks along the Aurlandsfjord and even a dip in the water were some highlights. The rooms were perfect as was the food and the staff was just gorgeous.
Without any doubt the location with the best view during our stay in Norway. Correct price/quality. Very sympathetic owners. It is always nice to have a chat with local people about how they experience everyday life.
