Loved almost everything ! We were there on the hottest day and the room had no aircon , however the dud have a fan so it was manageable.

Castricum is great for walk or cycling in the dunes and to the beach. It also has excellent train connections, for visiting Alkmaar or Amsterdam, Utrecht and beyond. Just one change of trains gets you to Schiphol Airport. It also has pleasant pubs and decent eateries.
The apartment is very cozy and big enough for two people. All the facilities were quite good, the bed is very comfortable.
The location is perfect if you go by car, everything is close enough to reach in no more that 40 min, but also if you want to take public transport, and the train station is 10 min away by foot.
Poeple Castricum was very polite and helpful, so the owner was, and he also was available for any need that we had so it made our stay very comfortable. Thank you so much Jos!

fantastic beds, separate entrance, excellent management, asking questions to ensuring a great stay, offering an excellent steakhouse with great fish and vegetarian options on the main floor below the guest bedrooms. Over the past 5 years I have stayed at most hotel and B&B venues in Castricum and I can honestly say that I definitely know that this will be the place I will stay at next time I’m in town.
wow ! simply exceptional service in every way. From the moment I got there they couldn’t do enough .. we were going to a wedding and needed a few small things at different times and all the team went out their way to help. I expected a hotel that would be the need to get to attend the wedding, instead, I had a hotel that bought memories in itself .. I will be back for sure! oh and the food .. incredible also !
The hotel has perfect location for nature walk and city (Alkmaar) visit. It is a beautiful quiet hotel next to the forest. The amazing dune reservation area and the beach are nearby. The junior suite is beautiful, spacious and has luxurious bathroom. Breakfasts and dinners were delicious and reasonably priced. The staff were efficient and friendly. We really enjoyed our time there.
I’ve stayed here before, spacious room with all amenities, above a lovely steakhouse. Close to Castricum centre, close to railway station. Free parking. Incredibly lovely staff, super clean room, fridge, hairdryer.
Breakfast, food and drink available to be taken to your room which has a lovely little dining set complete with wine glasses. Or, have dinner downstairs.
Stunningly beautiful boutique style accommodation. You couldn't ask for more from this accommodation, its perfect (and my husband and I stayed there for 2 weeks!) The location is perfect, a mere 8-minute walk from the train station and the restaurants and shops of the charming town of Castricum. I would highly recommend to stay here.
Wonderful hotel, great location, lovely and extremely generous staff. They prepared some vegan breakfast just for me and helped me straight away with shortening my stay when I had to leave early unexpectedly.

Great location close to Castricum, the Noordhollandse Duinreservaat & the beach. Perfect for cyclists, walkers & nature lovers. It is on the same property as a riding stable, so a great place if you like hanging round with horses.
