We had a fantastic stay at this accommodation! The owner's thoughtful touches in the decor really made the apartment feel warm and inviting. It was the perfect place to relax after long day exploring the coast. And let me tell you, the sauna was an absolute highlight - a perfect way to unwind after our daily walks.

I loved the beach, it was clean, you have plenty sand space, I mean, this beach will never be crowded because the distance from where the sand starts until where the water is is very long.
Help yourself on one of the traditional fried fish restaurants by the seaside, you won't regret.

A small coastal resort outside Alkmaar. Good coast walks and Alkmaar provides the local City to visit and rail transfer facilities to north south and west. We rode the trains to Enkhuisen via Hoorn. Enough bars and restaurants but I guess it would be very busy in the summer months. The local people were great and keen to talk to us which was good.

Very compact restaurant shopping area with an excellent beach. Very busy during tourist season which might tread on the tranquility aspect that it offers offseason.
Beautiful spot to leave the car in the driveway and be a local.
Location is good. Train ride from Amsterdam for about 30-40 minutes followed by a bus ride from Alkmaar station for about 20-30 minutes. Bus stop is 1 minute walk from the hotel. Beachfront is about 5 minute walk. Food at restaurant is good. Facilities are great - there is a swimming pool (indoor) with sauna (additional charge). Breakfast was extensive as well. Staff were pleasant all the time. Check in and cheek out times are strict.
Lovely little house, nicely furnished and well equipped kitchen. Quite cozy. The yard is surrounded by high fences which gives you a sense of privacy and was perfect to let the dog roam. Good location, only a few minutes walk from the beach and the town center. We did not meet the landlord in person but communication prior to arrival was good and getting the keys was easy. Would certainly stay here again if back in Egmond aan Zee.

And you can get everything or go everywhere in a short walk.
We really appreciated to be able to arrive late at night on Thursday, this flexibility saved us a whole day on Friday to enjoy the beach and its great restaurants.
In short: a perfect Easter weekend. As on top of it, we had quite some luck with the weather.
The hosts are lovely, we received a warm welcome with a home made snack. The room was small but cosy, with everything you need in it. They serve breakfast in the room every day, everything home made and 100% vegan. It was delicious! Coffee and tea was available in the room. The B&B is a couple of minutes away from the beach and the perfect place to stay in Egmond aan Zee.
Excellent location in quiet area but just in front of the seaside; very helpful and welcoming staff; our room was spacey and comfortable; breakfast was nice and sufficient with gluten free rolls provided.
Perfect location for bike trips in the area (the dunes on the way toward Bergen were just amazing).
Very nice and cosy appartement with great seaview. Although the building is rather old and not so nice from the outside, it is well located. Only few steps to sea and little town.

We loved this little house with a patio - it has everything you need for a stay and the location is super convenient, in 5 min you are at the beach next to the beach restaurants. The host was very welcoming and nice. The pillows and the bedding were also very convenient.
The apartments were very nice and big. The infra-red sauna was an extra delight. Walking around the property on the dunes was very enchanting. The towncenter was a 5 minutes walk and beach 10 minutes. So, it was a good location.
This is a charming hotel very close to the sea side. Is in a quiet street and staff are very kind. We had a very comfortable and clean room and when needed the staff was very helpful.
