Pantai Sepat beach, wind is breezy, chill, not too crowded when we visited in the morning around 9am.
You need a car to get around Kuantan.
Kula Cakes's Mango Cheesecake was not bad.
Don't go to Hoi Yan, it is super over-rated, their curry noodles is nothing special and drinks are bad.

Kuantan has very cheap and nice food.
Kuantan has very cheap and nice food. The price of Grab is very cheap to get around. There are numerous shopping malls to buy anything you need.
Kuantan is very hot and humid. It is ok to be out and about pre 1000h and again after 1800h. The shops are slow to open and there is no point going out before 1100h to shop, however, the shops are open later in the evening to around 2100h each day.

My wife and I are food hunters. We've had the best Patin Tempoyak at Mabiq, The best Durian Cendol at Mustafa and bought Tapai Ubi at the wet market. We tried the Pudding Diraja but didn't enjoyed it. We stayed at Swiss-Bell Hotel in Tanjung Lumpur and the hotel has a breath-taking view from our room. Worth visiting Kuantan again.

I highly recommend trying the Kuantan River Cruise for a unique and exciting experience. Breakfast just nice. During my stay, got fried rice and noodle, sausage and wedges, porridge, fruits, bread with their spread, omelet kitchen and hot & cold drinks. It simple but it's just nice... would be good if have nasik lemak 😜.
Location near beach and it is a stretch long beach that good for morning walk while enjoying sunrise. Got variety of local cuisine/restaurant nearby the hotel. About 20 min driving to Kuantan town. More and less 10 min to Teluk Cempedak ( depend on trafic laaa... banyak kereta, lambat la sampai)
I am back for the second time. We had an absolutely amazing time at AC Hotel by Marriott Kuantan. The inviting environment, the feeling of being pampered, the delicious foods, the cozy bedroom and comfy beds were amongst the welcoming factors which made me want to come back. All the hotel staff are always friendly and courteous. Everything is awesome!
- The location of the hotel is very strategic as it is near Teluk Cempedak, a famous spot to relax and unwind with strong sea breeze.
- The lighting of the room is bright and makes the room looks bigger.
- There was a small balcony on the outside of my room, which is good for me to relax at night.
- The air conditioning was working perfectly well.
Highly recommended to everyone especially for family trip. Nearby access for every attractions as all just walking distance from this area. The owner is friendly and very helpful. The house got 2 superb view which is beautiful balok beach n wonderful swimming pools. Definitely will come again next time
all of the things here is in my expectation because I always book this hotel whenever I need to do outstation at Kuantan. But need to book earlier if you want a good room, if not the room will not available. this is my 4 times staying here. Always the best.
The room space is a bit bigger and the room is clean. The breakfast menu changed from time to time and they were all good. The hotel is walkable around Menara Kuantan, mosque, padang MBK, nearby cafe like Kula Cakes, Watak Kopi, and others.
Very familiar with the accommodation. Always stay in the same hotel whenever I am in Kuantan either for work or leisure. The room had comfortable pillows and bedding. Good location, only a 5-minute walk to the Ikan Bakar eatery.
I stay here with my family, I took family room with 2 Queen and 1 Single, money worth it, there is no question of the cleanness, staff are friendly, quite place, nearby quite number food, Beach are 5min from hotel.
