People are throwing rubbish everywhere, even from cars. No enforcement, no proper management by the council is the main cause.

I was surprise there many Buddhist temples in KOTA Bahru and most of them have the largest or tallest statues, worth to visit

We didn't find much to do in Kota Bahru. We were there on a public holiday so not sure if that affected how many places were open. The area we stayed was pretty dead. We visited the street art which was very beautiful. We had a look at the river which was close to where we stayed. It was brown and murky and quite disgusting. We used this as a stop over before heading to the Perhentian Islands but wished we had kept going. We ate at the Barat Bistro. We were the only customer at the time but the food was excellent.

I really enjoy my staycation in Kota Bharu. Their people are nice and polite. Their society are simple, and I enjoyed their local food especially Laksam, Nasi Dagang, Nasi Ulam Cikgu, Coal grilled sea food which really fresh, sup belut and many more. I also enjoy their worth buying local fruits especially durian, rambutan etc…
Never leave Kota Bharu without having their Raja Kunyit Durian, sup belut and nasi ulam cikgu…

I travelled near end of august.
I travelled near end of august. Turn out it rained almost every night. Hence night outdoor activity is less convenient. Pantai cahaya bulan has several good food stall there. U can enjoy your meal beside the beach with sea view. Those who like Batik can find alot of batik stores at trade centre which is located just opposite of Pasar khatijah. Food stall in between trade centre and pasar khatijah taste good also.

The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and quiet, you can have nice sleep and rest. It's near for everything restaurants, shops and Khadijah Market. You can enjoy walking around.
1. Location is great. Walkable to most attractions and hotel is by the river.
2. Convenience store just a few doors away.
3. Eateries in front of the hotel or a short walk away.
4. Night market just a few minutes walk away but I believe the night market is not what it used to be and it's opened past 9 pm.
5. Staff is friendly and helpful.
6. Room is clean, bed is comfortable and air-con functioning well.
7. Room has a kettle, instant coffee, toothbrush with toothpaste and shower cap.

The owner was very welcoming and attentive, he immediately wanted to make it easier for us to arrive 👍 The rental was not luxury but a good place to make a stopover between Kota Bharu and the nearby islands 👍 N' do not hesitate to ask the owner who helps a lot with transport to Kuala besut (Perhentian) 👌
It’s a beautiful decorated apartment and it’s so kind of the owner to prepare welcome snacks for us. Spacious parking area. The location is right in the city center. Opposite Hotel Perdana and about 3 minutes away from Bazaar Tok Guru. Just below the apartment there’s restaurants and also Mc Donald’s.
Close to the main thoroughfare between Kota Bharu and Ketereh, with commercial centers and shops all along either side of the thoroughfare. There is a big shopping mall just 3 minutes away with plenty of options for fast food and shopping,
This my 3rd time stayed in this hotel, excellence job by the staff and front desk of their friendly service. The room is clean and bed is comfy so far for me this the best hotel in KB even better than the one opposite Troika.
The apartment was excellent which made us feel right at home after a long journey. The location is spot on where we can access Kota Bharu attractions easily. A self service laundry at ground floor made our life easier.
The price and room is just ok if you're on short and budget trip. Right opposite the hotel there are very delicious rojak and toast bread 😄 coffee shop. Hotel breakfast is just ok if you're not a fussy person.
The room is clean and has all the facilities. Also the location is located at the heart of kota bharu, can walk to pasar siti khadijah and accesible to a lot of shops too!
