Walking distance to great morning breakfast selection, Kek Lok Si Temple, 7-Eleven. Fell hungry in the night, there's a very good Nasi Kandar operating from a coffee shop which coffee shop are close and only Nasi Kandar stall open.
I like their sharing kitchen area where I can get filter clean water for drinking, fridge for chilling my drinks and food. Although my room was small it is sufficient. Toilet was clean but a bit small. The air con is working well. The price is very worthy, we went for work and sightseeing, not staying much in the hotel. The receptionist is friendly. Parking is a challenge during late afternoon when the food stalls were operating but parking is available after dinner hours. Many variety of food stall available, food is cheap and delicious.
This hotel is right at the foot of the famous Kek Lok Si Temple, and just next to Air Itam market where lots of nice local food and eateries abound. The room is clean with the standard amenities like fridge, tissues, 2 dustbins, disposable tooth brush, toothpaste, water boiler, coffee, tea, cups, hair dryer, working TV, WIFI, safe deposit box, hand soap and toiletries. The scenery out of the full length glass window was spectacular.
1. Sufficient parking for hotel guest but not guaranteed. The hotel also ran a "Hot Pot" restaurant on the top floor so the guest attending that could compete for parking.
2. Location was convenient to access hawker food but heavy traffic in the area.
3. Service was promptly responsive when I requested for soap replacement
4. Room size was generous.
We felt the room is wayyyy more better than any hotels room. Room n toilet was super clean, smells good, tidy, and well maintained. And tho it's family house, we felt secured, and privacy level is at the top! I will definitely recommend others to stay here since the price is beyond affordable! 😬😌
The overall comfort of the unit is ok. The host respond also is good. equipment prepared in the unit is more than adequate with big fridge, working stove, water heater and AC unit. With an additional microwave will be perfect. Overall just right for a budget homestay.
The cleanliness, view, good water pressure. Air-conditioning cools fast. Outside the hotel there are many coffeeshops and street stalls from early morning to afternoon offering cheap and good hawker foods.
Host was very accommodating and nice. Rooms were comfortable and as stated. Will recommend and come back again 👍 fully equipped and better than booking a hotel. Very comfortable for a big group
Location is very prime, near to the attractions and food stalls of Penang Hill. Garden is pretty and the sounds of nature are everywhere. The place itself has a nice vintage feel to it.
The view at the back garden is exceptionally beautiful. The hotel itself is part of Penang history. So many history facts on the wall with pictures that help us to know Penang better.
BF NA-Location good in Pekan Ayer Itam.Good surroundings and everything nearby. Hawkers and the food were good. Walking distance to Kek Lok si temple. Famous laksa was there.
