I got to experience the full Maldives here at this amazing hotel, very cozy and comfortable room and the staff here is on another level, super friendly and very helpful. They have their own diving and excursion Center. Must try - shark bank excursion, snorkelling with nurse sharks and visit a sand bank and it was such a great adventure. And also if you are a diver, you must go to the shipwreck diving which is 10 mins from the hotel. Loved the whole experience and Gulhi is such a peaceful island

Thanks for Oney 👏 he found for us private speedboat for 200 usd, although others counted for about 250 usd. He met us with his assistent from Bangladesh at the pier and took our luggage to the guest house, where they also treated us wellcome drinks. It all was very nice. They served delicious breakfast every morning. Any of our requests was fulfilled immediately. Thank you for atmosphere.

I suggest for every one to stay here .

It is easy to walk around the Island.
In ecvening we made 2 /3 circles around Gulhi Island and afterwards we
tested all restaurants and the best was LAVISTA Cafe & bistro.
They have a tasty food.
There we had the best Tuna Steak in Gulhi.

Super friendly, safe, clean, quiet and with plenty of activities to choose from during the day.
Restaurants with different types of cuisines available and the food is really good. And great coffee.
Both beaches are absolutely stunning.
Baby sharks and other marine life are always visible from shore when walking around the island.

A very welcoming island and with such friendly locals. It is a small island which is not that far from Male city or the airport by speedboat. There are some small restaurants and cafes that visitors can have snacks, drinks, tea and coffee. There are also many shops that sell everything visitors might need. Souvenir shops are also there and there are many items that can be bought at good prices. Cultural events are also there depending on the season and the occasions .

The prices are really cheap!

Gulhi island is perfect for tourists on budget.
Gulhi island is perfect for tourists on budget. We didn’t limit ourselves, we went on a couple of boat trips (which cost about 35-70$ per person) and bought whatever we needed (every meal was around 22$-36$), transfers cost around 25-35$ on a speed boat and 2$ on a public transport. All the restaurants, hotels and some shops accept dollars. The only disadvantage of the island, in my opinion, is that especially during low tide, the water in the ocean is knee-deep. Regardless of that the bikini beach is very clean and the corals are beautiful. Also I would suggest bringing fins with you because sometimes the current was really strong and renting them costs 5$.

Nice & cozy small island. You can find local & western food over here & they are serving nice coffee over here. Friendly locals is making you feel welcome to the Island. Walking at the beach and swimming in the sea is the 2 common activities over there. Lying on the beach chair & watching sun set is really enjoyable.
THE STAFF IN HOTEL WAS GOOD. BUT THE SPEED FERRY COSTS 25$ PER HEAD ONE WAY FROM MALE TO GULHI. SO I PAID $100 FOR THE TRANSPORT. WE STAYED HERE AS PER THE RESERVATION AND NOW I GOT MAIL FROM BOOKING.COM AS NO SHOW INFORMED BY THE HOTEL. THIS IS JUST SCAM FROM THE HOTEL SIDE. VERY DISAPPOINTED. AFTER PAYING 25$ EACH FOR MY DAD AND MYSELF, WE HAD VERY UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE AT THE FERRY, WE WANTED TO REDUCE THE MUSIC VOLUME WHICH THEY MEET OUR EXPECTATION. WILL DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND FOR SUCH ACT.
Everything was great and we had a memorable vacation there. The house is at perfect location right next to the bikini beach. It has a nice terrace at the second floor where the breakfast is served. I loved the Maldivian breakfast mashuni but they serve the continental too. Liusha was very helpful and nice, Ayran too and if we come back to Gulhi we would stay again at Gurus. We felt like at home. Great value for money.

The concept of a guest house itself is great. We got to meet cool people from around the globe. Had awesome conversations and a lot of fun. No chance that would happen in a big hotel.
Anna, Ibrahim and Katya were above and beyond. My family of 3 kids, my husband and myself had a great time on Gulhi at Beach Walk.

We also took a snorkelling trip organised through the hotel which was a great experience and reasonably priced, would definitely recommend to anyone.
They also provided free to hire snorkel masks and fins so that you could enjoy the underwater sites around Gulhi itself, which was great.

The staff was all very friendly and very helpful. The people at the restaurant in the bottom of the hotel were very nice and very welcoming. The hotel gave us suggestions of how to dress in accordance with the culture. The hotel also offered excursions for a low price so we were allowed to go swimming with sharks and do a half day trip for low prices.
Jalil went above and beyond for us and provided us with a unforgettable experience. The hotel is very clean and nicely located. By far the best value for money in the Maldives. Activities organized by them were also amazing. Got to swim with turtles and dolphins
Everything was fine, bikini beach is in 5 minutes from hotel, very good host and personnel, cheerful and helpful all the time. Excursions are available as well. We went to see sharks and for snorkeling. Highly recommended!
